Read Today's Daily Prophet: Knights of Walpurgis attack Hogwarts; Belleford steps down as Hogwarts closes until further notice
Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control?

The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make?

Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? It's up to each individual to decide their fate, where will you decide to go?

Hogwarts vs Sinbyte...Round Two; The Grounds + Big Tree Topic, Day 1

Mudwin Sinbyte

Mudwin entered the grounds of Hogwarts' once again. They had changed, they seemed dorment and...well different, the battle he had came accross on his last day here; it had scared the famous grounds somehow. It had to have been after The Sinbyte Estate Owner fled from the scene.

He looked around, it was virtually empy around the grassy, sacred, grounds, forest and black lake. If his estimates were correct - then most of the school's scummy students would be in their lessons right now. Only the few, usual slackers and love birds catching up with their digusting partners to further their weird relationships; would probably the only ones hanging around outside of lessons now.

Mr Sinbyte, one of the wealthiest men in the wizarding world, took two steps towards the great, grand, greystone castle but stopped, to remember his earlier plans and thoughts again. Only two students needed to be looked out for in the school: Katriane Quicompoix and Lola Dior, the flithy Hufflepuff bitches who he had to confrot for information about Bibby that one evening, just before the Students and Teachers Vs The Red Caps war, which he of course joined in for fun.

He sighed, Mudwin knew he had to avoid these two at all costs as they could alert the authorities at the school if they were not already busy with the rest of the crap going on around the school. Any other filthy, scumbag students and children would just assume he was a member of the teaching and/or staff team. This would be excellant for him...and Isaac...if it came to needing his son to inflitrate the school that is.

Mudwin approached the school and smirked. He placed one or two of his battered fingers on The Abominor, which still rested in his suit's pocket, it had never been removed from that position since he gained control of it; Stroking it, his smirk enlarged as he entered the school, Hogwarts' once again didn't know what was coming...

Matthew strolled out onto the grounds, he smelt the fresh breeze and smiled to himself as he headed towards his lesson area to prepare for the next one. Bit of paper in hand he placed it on the floor and put a heavy rock over it to keep it down.

He placed his hands in his pockets. His empty pockets. Matty had tried not to drink so much over the holidays as Miss Fera Collis was staying with him, she hated it when he was drunk, so with her living with him. It was best to stay away from the whisky.

Matthew sighed and sat down on the floor, thinking about the creatures he had planned for next lesson and when to bring them out onto the grounds.

Stanley stepped out onto the Grounds after a refreshing nap. He had come out to take Dog for a walk, and held him with a leash that was wrapped sternly around his hand. He took a step down from the castle and walked throughout the grounds. As he walked through, he stopped to take a rest. He took a seat on a rock and looked around at the large space. He saw then that there was another man on the Grounds. He knew him as Matthew Concordus, the Care of Magical Creatures Professor. He looked at the man happily and introduced himself. "Hello. My name is Stanley Peckle. I teach Herbology, and I am also the caretaker here. You've probably seen me walking around the school cleaning up, eh?" He smiled and petted Dog, then tied the dog's leash to a outcropping rock. "You are?" he said, waiting for a reply from the Professor.

Matthew looked up as someone joined him. It was an older man, he smiled to him as he said his name. "Hello," He reached out a hand for the man to shake, "I'm Professor Matthew Concordus, Professor of Care Of Magical Creatures, He said grinning.

"And yes I have seen you wandering about Stanley, I've always wanted to meet you, I've head lots about you and the good work you do for the school from my great mate Bannishtar!" Matty exclaimed.

Stanley shook Matthew's hand. "Oh, you know Bannishtar? Wonderful man, he is. You don't really see many centaurs here now-a-days. They keep to themselves, they do." He grinned as he pulled his hand back. "So, Care of Magical Creatures, huh? That is a really interesting subject. And I can see that you're Head of Gryffindor House, too!" He laughed. "How splendid."

He looked at the man happily. "So, what're you doing out here all alone?" he asked. "I've been walking Dog here. I try to get him out at least twice a day. This is the first time today."

"Ah yes, Banni does an excellant job just like you, shame about his herd though, but apart from that he's pretty much flawless!" Matthew said with a smile, "And, yep, I'm head of my old house which is a huge honour for me", He sighed and closed his eyes, "When Professor Belleford told me I was over the moon!" He exclaimed before looking to the clouds in the sky.

"I was just sorting out things for my next lesson, It should be a good one, finally being out on the grounds etc," Matthew said, replying to his second question.

Stanley nodded and smiled. "Oh.. oh yes." He sighed and looked down at the grass. Him and Bannishtar had done some major cleaning over the break, and the Grounds looked as if the battle had never happened. It seemed as though everything was well, back to the way it used to be, it was supposed to be.

Stanley petted Dog and looked at Matthew. "Well, I see that you're busy. I think I'll get going now." He stood up, with the support of the rock upon which he sat, and untied Dog. He then began to walk.

Ben ran out onto the grounds, he twisted and turned looking around for that area again; where Yvette laid. A grimace went across his mind and face as he thought about it. He felt sick as the scene upstairs reminded him so much of when he killed Yvette.

He rushed accross the dry grass to the area he last visited last year with Lola. Starting to sob, Ben reached it and skidded accross the grass on his knees; coming to halt next to her corpse. It was. Still. There.

Ben placed a hand accross Yvette's chest and began to cry, he kissed her cold lips and cried even more before muttering a few words, "What it could of been..." He said in between sobs.

The Hufflepuff kissed the dead girl's lips once more and feel backwards into the grass, he sobbed even harder, he thought he was getting over it, but he wasn't. Ben began to suck his thumb once more.

OOC - Btw this is away from Stanley and Matty, :) Waiting for you now Summer! XD

Summer entered the grounds, looking around for a familiar Hufflepuff face. She spotted Ben sitting on the ground, sobbing over a dead body. Yvette's dead body. Once again, Summer contemplated whether or not she should go over to him, but decided that she should say something compassionate. Summer walked over to Ben and put a hand on his shoulder.

"Ben..." she started, but didn't know what else to say. She knew nothing she said would make him get over the loss of Yvette. "Ben, I'm so sorry. I'm sorry about what happened and I'm sorry that you're going through this. I wish it could've happened some other way, but..." Summer's voice trailed off and she knelt down besides Ben. "If you wanna talk about it I'm always here, you know," she said empathetically, but that was the only thing Summer could think of saying.

Ben heard someone speak his voice. He looked up and saw an unfamiliar Gryffindor, he wondered how she knew his name, however in his child-like-state of mind he would probably easily forget a simple name of someone he had hardly talked to much in the past. She had probably borrowed a pencil off of him in class, or something along those lines; back when he was himself. But since then he had not remembered who she was.

The Hufflepuff got to his feet and wiped away his tears before offering a hand out for the girl to shake, while all the time he smiled weakly, "Hey," he said, still sobbing slightly, "I'm Ben, nice to meet you, but who are you and how do you know my name?" He asked.

He then sighed again before leaning over to stare into the eyes of the dead girl', Yvette. She looked so peaceful. "I'm fine now, but thanks for being here for me," Ben said, smiling again, even though he was lying this time. He wasn't fine, he was shaken up still and scared because of the scene with Tinsley earlier...it was too much like De Ja Vu for him.

Summer wasn't all that surprised that Ben didn't remember her, so she took some time to introduce herself. "Oh yeah, you probably don't remember me," she replied, shaking his hand and chuckling softly. "I'm Summer, Summer Nielson. We met a few years back, so it would be typical that you don't remember me. I wasn't even sure that it was you who was....here." Summer looked at Ben, then down at the girl's dead body. She looked so calm and so normal that it was hard to believe she was dead. "C'mon, we're going to be late for class," Summer finally said, regaining her senses. Somehow, the girl's unmoving body had hypnotized her.

Ben smiled and took the girl's hand, he squeezed it and smiled, "I think I remember you now Summer," He lied, only to be polite of course; and to cover up his state of mind. The poor little Hufflepuff didn't want to show much more madness.

He sighed and let go of the girl's hand before muttering, "I dunno if I want to go to potions, the last time I was there it was just before I..." Ben cut off and looked at the ground, he almost accidently revealed he had killed Yvette that day, "Ugh yes, It wasn't the best of lessons, even though the teacher has changed...again...since then."

Ben, the blonde boy giggled to himself and to the girl, "I'm pretty sure they have a curse on themselves or something," He laughed, trying to get his mind off Yvette's body and spirit just meters away, he still wanted to kiss her again and again. Kissing her spirit was much better then kissing her cold, lifeless body's lips. He occasionally took glances at the ex-Slytherin, only while talking and waiting for Summer to speak back again.

Summer laughed along with the Hufflepuff and nodded understandingly. She looked around the grounds. The sky had a sunny and vibrant feel and the light reflected onto the countless amount of trees in the Forbidden Forest. "Yeah, it's strange isn't it? Well, if you want, I can stay here with you. I never really liked Potions that much and I hear Professor Sneckenberg is supposed to be extremely frightening," she said, truthfully. Potions was not her best subject and besides, she would be late anyways adding the time it would take for her to run back up to Gryffindor Tower, get her Potions book, and run back to the dungeons. "Unless you'd like to be left alone. I wouldn't want to bother you..." she added. But Ben seemed nice. One minute he was weeping uncontrollably and the next he was laughing along with her.

Ben smiled, "Nah stay, I don't have any plans to be heading to Potions," he laughed and took two steps away from the body, He was trying to forget about Yvette for the time being and get to know this unknown Gryffindor who had suddenly appeared in his life.

"Plus I hate that subject with a passion, almost as much as I hate..." He was going to say Slytherins but realised that supernaturally he was still in the presence of Yvette.

"Come on let's get away from here," He sniffed, before taking Summer by the hand, "Sit by the lake maybe?" Ben asked, "I'd just like to relax," he stated, even though his heart, head and breathing was going faster then Julian flying through the air after being booted in The Hufflepuff's dreams.

Summer returned Ben's smile, especially at the notion to get away from that particular spot on the ground. "Yeah, good idea," she replied as she walked besides Ben. Summer could sense something was wrong with him, but thought it best not to bring it up, especially since she had only formally met him. Anyways, if something was bothering him, he probably didn't want to talk about it. Summer sat down besides Ben near the lake and looked out onto the clear, motionless water. She caught a glipse of her reflection before turning to Ben. "So, tell me more about yourself...where are you from?" she questioned the Hufflepuff curiously, although she knew better than to judge a person by their past.

Ben smiled as the two of them took a seat by the black lake, he looked at his own reflection as well, before seeing hers look at his, which ultimently means she was turning to him. He turned to her and grinned before answering, "Well I live in an old, typical Muggle village in South East England, it's ok, just a bit boring sometimes when I'm on my own," He sighed, thinking about when his parents last left him home alone, meaning Eric was able to come round and severely injure him in his own home...his own living room.

"What about you?" The Hufflepuff asked, wanting to know more about this girl, they could become good friends.

But before she could answer, Ben cut off The Gryffindor, "Oh and by the way, please don't tell anyone about earlier, I beg you." He asked with Ben's patened symphathy eyes and puppy eyes.

Summer listened intently as Ben described the village he lived in. She smiled when Ben asked her not to tell anyone about the incident earlier. "'Course not. You can trust me," she replied, smiling broadly at him. "That must be nice, living with muggles," she said, laughing at her own comment.

"I live near Rio Beach in London, which is cool. I'm usually alone, too except for my younger sister. I live with my mom, but she has to work overtime at St. Mungo's ever since my..." Summer's voice trailed off once again. She thought it best not to tell a possible new friend about his parent's gruesome divorce.

Ben patted the girl's back and smiled, "Don't worry, we all have our troubles and you don't have to talk about them if you don't want to," The Hufflepuff could tell The Gryffindor was cracking up, he smiled once more and took his hand away from her; "I'm living proof and a living example of that! Troubles!" Ben said, slightly with his own cackling laugh.

"Oh but thanks for helping, it means alot to have someone to talk to!" He exclaimed before laying back in the warm grass; they were far away from where Yvette's body lied but he could still feel it's weird presence.

"But yes, I suppose talking helps so I will say one thing," Ben sighed and took a deep, long, sighing breath - "I miss Yvette, she meant alot to me, we were enemies but it changed..." He sighed again, "We loved eachother Summer...alot," Ben tried not to crack up into tears again as he told her this.

Laying back in the grass, once again Ben thought, but this time out loud, "What could of been...," He mumbled, hopefully she didnt hear most of the two things and statements he just said, perhaps she did, perhaps she didn't, but etheir way; Ben didn't care, he just needed to get it off his chest, even if it did come out in gobbledygook.

Summer grinned once more. "Thanks." she said, chuckling at Ben's comment. "And, it's no problem. It does help to have someone to talk to," she said, thinking about her own life at the moment.

Summer turned to look at Ben, lying down on the warm, soft grass. She smiled when he said that he used to love Yvette. "You still love her, Ben. And she loves you, too...wherever she is. That's what counts," she told him looking up at the blue, blue sky. There wasn't a cloud in the sky, but still something miserable gloomed over them. "Don't worry, though. Soon, you'll turn back to your old normal self. You'll miss her, but it'll be ok then."

Ben nodded,"I do still love her, she meant a lot to me, but I never knew it or admitted it, she never did as well..." He cracked off and sniffled while looking at the ground; a tear came to his eye as he ran his right hand's fingers through his hair.

He gulped, "Until...," One more deep breath did it for Ben before he could manage to speak, "Until she was dying," Ben sighed before the wrecked Hufflepuff laid back in the grass further; almost to hide himself.

He; Ben, tried to smile but it wouldn't come; neither would the tears, he was torn between forgetting about his dastardly deeds and moving on without Yvette, or sticking around, thinking about her all the time and regretting time itself. Ben hated himself once more at the certain time, at this moment, but he would not let it show to Summer...She was. Indeed. Helping.
