Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit. Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control? The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make? Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? She was being buried alive. Aubrey called his name. "I know you are there James. Leave her out of it. This is between you and me." john called. John called his wand at the ready.

Now John knew that James couldn't be snuck up on. However, Aubrey calling out John's name merely confirmed the fact that John was there, something James knew anyway. Using the tree as a cover James decided to get John. "Petrificus totalus" James yelled shooting at his twin. Turning around the tree to face his brother in a duel.

It cracked into a tree almost cutting it down. "Impedimentia" John yelled, he was not aiming to hurt his brother. Merely buy enough time to get at least Aubrey out safely.

It will be your down fall. James slashed his wand throught the air three times. "Incarserous" James yelled sending three layers of ropes speeding towards his brother.

"Releashio" John said and John stepped out of the bounds. John used his moment of freedom "Releashio" John said pointing his wand at Aubrey. He didn't mind getting hurt he didn't want to see Aubrey getting hurt because of him.

A metaphorical dagger flew through the air at his brother as he was concentrating on freeing Aubrey from her confines. James wasn't worried, he would have plenty of time to finish the job on Aubrey after John was out of the way.

He grabbed his arm in shock. He drew back his hand and it was covered in blood. John almost dropped his wand. Aubrey didn't seem to be moving. It became apparent to John that she had been put under a body bind. That would have made James' job a lot easier. "Finite" John cried out his wand dropping to the ground the pain in his arm overwhelming him. He kneeled over and tipped to his side holding his badly cut arm.

It was time to end this with John once and for all. Aubrey's death would be an added bonus. Perhaps James would rub John's face in the charred remains of Aubrey. The idea was so tempting.

"Noooooo" John said, the thick smoke from the fire blinded him but in his head he saw Aubrey burnt alive, her charred remains barely recognised after the fire and explosion.

Her body hurt from the ropes and the urge to hurt James overpowered anything else she was feeling. "Immobulus!" She screamed, pointing her wand at James. She backed up by John. "Are you okay?"

"Vulnero" James shot at John again before getting knocked off his feet and slammed into a nearby tree. James' muscles ached. He had no idea what hit him. His only thought was to get away. Whatever hit him was powerful. A source of magic he did not want to battle. He recognised it's strength. He hid amongst a large clump of trees and tried to regather his thoughts. OOC: Hell hath no fury like a women scorned (or something along those lines)

He cried in pain. There was a bang. John didn't dare open his eyes. The next voice he heard was a tender voice ask if he was alright. It was Aubrey, John was very confused. He opened his eyes. Aubrey stood infront of him, wand in hand. "Go get out of here. Leave while you can" John said. A tear rolled down his cheeks both hands covered in mud and blood. Two large gashes, one on his arm the other running down his side.

It was, Aubrey had somehow survived the exploding tree and was freed. James ducked as a spell wizzed over head exploding at of the tree that James was running towards. "Girlie wants to play" James' murmered. He spun around the tree again exposing himself, but instead of coming out the near side he came out the far side. "Vulnero" James said, "you and your pretty little boy friend can have matching scars" he called, teasing Aubrey.

"Want to play that way? Vulnero!" She used his spell back on him. Aubrey tossed her head back and lunged at James, pinning him. Her wand was at his throat.

James ran and she let him go, not wanting to cause anymore trouble. She knelt next to John, pulling him close to her. "Are you alright?" They were both bleeding from James' curses. Aubrey was shaking, cold and scared. She'd never used her magic like that before and it left her feeling weak. "We should see a healer." Aubrey slipped off into the castle, hoping John followed. ((Dodged because I have no idea what the spell does.))
