| Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit. Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control? The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make? Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? It's up to each individual to decide their fate, where will you decide to go? You're currently viewing our forum as a guest. 4th Year Summer's friendship with Rosalind Barlow strengthens and the two become besties to the point where they are inseparable. Summer also meets Diana Crawford at the Opening Dinner and they become close friends, both of them being on the Gryffindor Quidditch Team. She becomes enemies with Tinsley Carmicheal, both of them loathing each other for various reasons. Precious Hindert begins to hate Summer for being so perky and bright, while Summer hates Precious for being a typical Slytherin. Summer and John Holland start a relationship, both of them having developed feelings for each other. John, however, is dating Summer's good friend, Aubrey Dior, but he breaks up with Aubrey after realizing that he would be much happier with Summer. However, once Summer meets Jayceon Hubbard, John becomes jealous to the point where he hexes Jayceon in front of everyone. Summer and John realize that they cannot be together anymore and eventually break up. This of course happens during the Halloween Party and during the same party, Summer notices Constanta Lupei hurriedly exit the party. Summer gets suspicious and follows Constanta, leaving Jayceon - whom she had been dancing with - feeling confused and hurt. Meanwhile, Summer follows Constanta onto the grounds and witnesses her transform into a werewolf. Summer rushes back into the castle and bumps into Tinsley, who already knows about Constanta's secret. Summer - who is frightened and shocked by Constanta's transformation - tells Tinsley she knows about it and that they have to tell someone. Tinsley, however, simply threatens Summer, saying that if she tells anyone about Constanta's secret then Tinsley will have to kill her. Summer is so shaken by this, she swears not to tell anyone, but the secret tears her apart. After the party, Summer confronts Jayceon again and the two have a heated discussion. Jayceon finally admits why he was hesitant to get too close to Summer - or any girl - and tells Summer about his mother's death. Summer sympathizes with Jayceon and the two become closer, both of them still liking each other. A girl by the name of Jamie Brooks becomes increasingly jealous of Summer, thinking that Summer is a perfect girl with no care in the world (even though she isn't) and dislikes her bubbly personality greatly. Jamie also witnesses Jayceon and Summer together and becomes even more jealous of Summer in the process. Jamie ends up telling lies about Summer to Jayceon, using her persuasion skills, and Jayceon ends up believing Jamie. Jay confronts Summer and the two have another heated discussion, but it ends up with Jayceon and Summer both realizing that Jamie had been lying to them all along. Summer confronts Jamie, but Jamie merely denies the whole thing and tells Summer she is weak and useless. Summer believes Jamie and ends up feeling even worse about herself. Summer also meets Jenny Brooks around the school and the two form a rivalry. Summer tries to empathize with Jenny - who has suddenly become bitchy - and tries to make her confront why she's acting out negatively. Jenny ends up hexing Summer. Overall 4th Year Plot ... Over the course of the year, Summer becomes … darker. She follows the typical "good girl turned bad" path as a result of her horrible past and her cloudy future. Summer begins to believe that she is indeed weak and useless, especially after witnessing Constanta's transformation and undergoing Tinsley's cruel threats. Summer realizes the truth about herself: that her whole life has been a lie and that her happiness and perkiness was merely a cover to hide what she was really feeling inside. She realizes that she is actually an insecure, hurt little girl with no parents and no satisfactory family. After this epiphany, Summer becomes more and more depressed. Everything she does turns out all wrong and this results in Summer becoming outrageous with herself. She becomes angry at not only herself, but everyone around her as well. People begin to fear the new "thing" Summer has become and they begin to distance themselves away from her. Pretty soon Summer becomes isolated and friendless, which simply makes her angrier at herself. She tries to find out where she truly belongs, whether it's with the dark, condescending Slytherins; the brave, strong Gryffindor; the happy-go-lucky Hufflepuffs; or the bookish, quiet Ravenclaws. Finally she will found out the truth about her past as well as her future, and it will change her forever… During the summer Summer returns home, a sweet and innocent little girl turned into a dark and intimidating teenager. At home, she has no friends and no family. She is alone with her younger sister – whom she hates – all the time as her mother is barely at home anymore. One day, when her mother is not at home, Summer receives a letter from a man whom she had thought to be long gone … her father. The letter reads that Summer's father wants to meet Summer sometime soon. Without telling her mother, Summer leaves the house to go meet her father. That same night, Summer's mother comes home early with a surprise, only to find the house deserted and Summer gone. Meanwhile… Summer travels by broomstick to "La Fleur" – The Blosson – which is a small, isolated French café the letter told her to go to. There she waits alone until an unknown man comes into the shop. Summer stands to greet the man and the man tells her that he is her father. Summer sits back down and doesn't know what to say. The man starts out by saying that he wants to reappear in Summer's life again as a father. He offers Summer to come live with him in France for the rest of the summer and if she doesn't like it there, then she can return back to her mother and siblings. Summer is tempted to take the offer, but she finally realizes that she cannot, simply because her mother needs her help taking care of her younger sister and the house. The man is disappointed, but he agrees with Summer telling her that he understands. Nevertheless, he tells her that if she refuses this offer, it will be goodbye forever. Summer pauses for a moment, thinking of the better life she could have if she decided to go with her father to France. Still, she realizes that she simply cannot leave behind her past life so easily even if it means never seeing her father again. The man nods and exits the café, leaving Summer angry with herself once again. Summer returns to her house to find her mother worried sick. Her mother read her father's letter and knows about Summer's meeting with her ex-husband and is furious that Summer didn't tell her. Summer – who is angry at her mother for not letting her go with her father, even though it was Summer herself and not her mother who made her stay – simply shoves away her mother, leaving the woman confused and hurt. Summer becomes possibly even more depressed with herself, in addition to her and her mother's relationship being broken forever… 5th Year After two months of non speaking to her mother at all, Summer hesitantly returns to Hogwarts, fearing that the attention will only make her feel as if returning was a bad idea. Indeed, when Summer returns, she finds herself even more depressed by the familiar surroundings that once made her crumble to pieces. The memories of 4th Year haunt her and she doesn't realize that all her friends are actually worried about her. Summer ends up skipping classes more and more often, isolating herself from the rest of the Hogwarts population, and crying herself to sleep every night. She realizes that she is simply following a pattern by doing the same things she did to distance herself from the rest of the school like she did the previous year. Several of Summer's close friends, become even more worried as Summer becomes more and more gothic. They try to talk to her, but Summer simply ends up shoving them away brutally. Then, one day later in the year, Summer receives a letter. The letter – which is wet, obviously from tears - is from her little sister, Taylor, who tells Summer that their mother hasn't been the same since Summer left. It also says that their mother has taken some time off from work and stays in bed all day. Taylor hasn't told anyone about their mother yet, except Summer, but she tells Summer in the letter that their mother has been yelling in her sleep, crying all the time, throwing up all over the place, and other horrible symptoms. Taylor does not know this, but Summer soon finds out with the help of the school healer that her mother has an incurable disease. Summer becomes more and more worried until finally one day she decides that she needs to go visit her mother. Her older brother, Rob, visits the school to come pick up Summer. Using side-apparation, the two go back to London and to their home. Summer finds out that her mother is indeed very ill and witnesses the woman's death. Summer feels guilty about the death of her mother, remembering how she left her mother feeling hurt and confused and didn't even get a chance to say goodbye. Eventually Summer decides that she needs to return to Hogwarts and she does return. When she returns, everyone notices that Summer is different now. She isn't dark and depressed all the time, but she isn't her usual cheerful self either. She has become, for the first time in her life, normal… ... Or close enough at least. Not really sure what to do in Sum's fifth and later years. If anyone has any ideas involving their characters, post here or PM me. Also, if anyone wants to RP with me, either this year or next, please post or PM me. I'd love to hear your ideas and I'm sure I'll like them. UPDATED- September 27th

Jenny and Summer should form a rivalry. Jenny's going to become increasingly bitchy. Summer could try to empathize with her, try and make her confront why she's acting out negatively. And Jenny can hex her. ![]() Ideas? |

I think Summer's exit from the great hall leaves Jayceon feeling low on himself. He's berating himself for letting Summer get close to him but part of him just can't help it. I think it should be awkward when they next meet, and after a heated discussion they agree to be friends and Jay allows Summer to understand his pain by telling her about his mother. And how he feels guilty for her death. . Maybe they should become close as Jay just can't help but like Summer. That's all I've got right now lol |

Lol, Em. I know what you mean.
Sounds good to me. ![]() We could do it after Summer leaves the Entry Hall, she'll reenter the Great Hall and the whole Tinsley-Constanta thing will leave her feeling horrible so when Jay confronts her, she'll feel even worse. Awesome.
