Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control?

The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make?

Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? It's up to each individual to decide their fate, where will you decide to go?

Constanta Lupei
Member Avatar
Fifth Year

Full name: Constanta Olimpia Lupei
Nickname(s): Stanta
Gender: Female
Birthdate: 15 March
Age: Fourteen
Year: Fourth Year
Blood: Half-blood
Wand: Walnut, eleven and three-quarters inches, core of kraken's beak
Preferred House: I don't mind which house, whatever is convenient.

Appearance:
Height: Five feet, six inches
Eyes: Her eyes are chocolate brown with gold flecks; they are large and round, but heavy-lidded, giving her a tired look.
Hair: She has thick, dark, wavy hair that falls midway down her back. She keeps it cut in layers with some light fringe falling across her forehead; sometimes she ties it back so that it doesn't get in the way.

Physical Description:
She has a light skin tone (she avoids the beach like a plague; burns easily) with a few light freckles around her shoulders and on her face. She has high cheekbones that are most obvious when she smiles, which also shows a lot of her teeth. She is quite attractive, though she spends rather little time on herself; she never wears makeup, and only brushes her hair and dries it in the morning. She has a curvy figure that she sometimes likes to accentuate with clingy clothing. Her style is bohemian; lots of colours, patterns, layering, and jewellery.

Personality:
Constanta has her highs and her lows. She will never be a cheerful girl, but she can appreciate good humour and certainly feels happy when things are going her way. She is often cynical, and dislikes censoring her thoughts for others' feelings, though she is not an unkind person. When she screws up she goes down hard on herself, as she hates failure and views it rather as a reflection of her self-worth for a time. If something really awful happens that she can't deal with, she may just shut down and close herself off for a while until she figures out a way to get through it. She will sometimes sing softly to herself if a song is stuck in her head or she simply loves a song enough.

History:
Constanta grew up in Romania with her father, mother, and little sister by six years, Crina. She and Crina never had a lot in common due to their age difference, so generally Constanta kept to herself and her Muggle friends. Her parents had chosen to live in a Muggle town on the west side of the Carpathian mountains, but they raised her and her sister with magic in the house.

When Constanta was eight years old, she was bitten by a werewolf prowling near the village. She had been playing outside beside a lantern with her sister sitting nearby when it leaped out of the darkness and grabbed her arm in its teeth. Crina immediately started screaming, which arrested the werewolf's attention. It leaped upon her instead, partly because it was hungry and partly because it wanted to put a stop to the noise. By the time the parents rushed out of the house, wands raised, Crina was dead. Constanta was alive, though her arm was bleeding profusely and she had passed out from both terror and blood loss. They subdued the werewolf and side-along Apparated it far into the wilderness elsewhere in the country, as they could not bring themselves to kill something that was inherently human and unable to control its instincts.

Constanta regained full use of her arm, with only a small scar where the wolf had bitten her, but now she was a werewolf as well. She began the horrible monthly transformations soon afterward, and her parents were forced to keep her locked up in a cage when they knew the full moon was coming. Their neighbours were getting increasingly suspicious when Constanta arrived to school with scratches all over her just after a night of loud howling coming from around her house. Her parents were forced to move when their suspicions nearly turned to accusations.

They moved to England, where they all learned to speak English in two years of intensive study courses. They wanted to integrate as fully into their new home as possible. By this time Constanta's magic still had not manifested itself, and her parents began to worry that her being a werewolf somehow had cancelled out her magical powers. However, her Hogwarts letter arrived promptly on her eleventh birthday, and she managed to blow up a fishbowl in Ollivander's while shopping for her school supplies. He explained to her that sometimes emotional and physical trauma early in life could prevent a child from performing spontaneous magic through expression of their feelings.

Family: Her father, Grigore, is a pureblood wizard and her mother, Viorica, is a Muggleborn witch. They are both Romanian-born.
Pet(s): She has an owl for sending mail, named Bianca, and a Crup (like a Jack Russell terrier with a forked tail) named Anton; he's a great companion of hers.
Possessions: A Foe-Glass given to her by her father; it was a family heirloom.

Out of Character Information

How old are you? 14

Are you a male or a female? Female

How did you come about this site? I found it on one of the Topsites.

Do you have any previous roleplaying experience? If so, on or in what? What universe did you roleplay in?

I have roleplayed for a while in various original universes, as well as Harry Potter.

Finally, the ultimate question. Your answer? (You will know what the question is if you have read the rules.) I would choose Episkey, because it'd be really useful whenever I broke bones or any of my things.
