Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Fifth Year. This year, Hogwarts has been chosen to host a legendary event, The Triwizard Tournament! However, these are dark times we live in, for the Dark Lord Azariah Amaranth has escaped the bonds which have kept him in Ministry custody, and has destroyed the Ministry in the plain sight of several muggles, effectively placing the Wizarding World under martial law and placing our very way of life in jeopardy. Strict curfews have been placed on all citizens, and now that school has started, no one--not students or staff--are allowed in or out of Hogwarts until further notice. So cancel any trips out you might have, because all students and staff must remain in, and everyone else must stay out. Now the Dark Lord is in preparation to topple the stability of both worlds and all races; to deal the final, shattering blow to the current world order.

Why all this madness; this destruction and anarchy? Just what is Amaranth's ultimate goal?

The first task has now ended. Christmas is here and we all know what that means: The Yule Ball will commence tonight. If your character is planning on attending and doesn't already have a date, be sure to snag one before all the good ones are gone!

Today (Day 5) is Christmas day, so there is no class. We will have morning festivities before moving to lunch and freetime, which will then lead us to the night of the ball.

It is written in Third Person.} ---- was on his computer one day, on his MySpace. He wasn't doing anything really important, just talking to friends and listening to music, like he does everyday. Well, it was that time of the month. The time of the month where he squandered the internet for a good role playing site. ---- did this all the time because he could never find one he'd really liked. He never found one that he could understand or that he could even remember the web address to. So, ---- went on GOOGLE. In the search bar, ---- typed the following phrase: "Harry Potter Role Plays". Instantly, once the page loaded, millions of webpages showed up. (I remember the first... five, I believe.) The first five were: Free HP RPs! Hogsmeade Topsites Free HP Merchandise! Harrypotter.com Find Harry Potter Merchandise On eBay. [/color] So, ---- clicked on the first one. All of a sudden a website popped up and there were millions of Harry Potter Role Plays. They all had incredibly weird names, though. "Your Harri Pottr." was one of them. So, ---- went back by pressing BACKSPACE on his computer's keyboard. He clicked on the second one, Hogsmeade Topsites. He got on the website, and tried out some of the first five. (Please note that at this time, Hogwarts Interactive Role Play was at number 7.) He decided that he didn't really like them, and he backspaced all of them. ---- decided to go down a little further, and he clicked on one that was named "HOGWARTS INTERACTIVE ROLE PLAY." When he went on it, it was great! He went down to the chat box and immediately made himself a persona. He was greeted by a flourish of people, who welcomed him gratefully. ---- immediately made a character after that and submitted an application. His character was then accepted as Kane Resultran of Ravenclaw. To summarize, I found this website on both Google and Hogsmeade Topsites. This was and is a great site, and it's one of the only ones I've stuck to for a long time. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Sincerely, Kane.

Unregistered	Through Murko (Maffor Garrod on here) on a forum called Evanna Lynch Online XD On a boring hot summer's day, he linked it, I looked thought it looked too hard and confusing XD So left it, then a week later when I was still bored I returned and had a better and bigger look, so I decided to give it a go! And as they say...the rest is history

I hadn't been on an RP for a long time, but one day I was sooo bored and thought "Hey, I should go back to roleplaying." So I went on google, searched "Harry Potter Role Play" and found a few top sites. I clicked on one but nothing I liked, so on there I clicked on another one that was a Top Site. So I clicked on about two sites, and disliked them. Theeen I clicked on this one, and had a look around. I instantly loved the "Real Time" bit and joined and here I am.

So I checked a few topsites and didn't really see anything I liked, but I was on Hogsmeade Topsites (and sadly, this site was like number 10 or something at that point) I saw a couple I might look into but this was the only that was active! So I joined. and now here we are! :]
