| Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit. Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control? The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make? Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? It's up to each individual to decide their fate, where will you decide to go? You're currently viewing our forum as a guest. Mascacra Demise prowled deep into the Forbidden Forrest. She looked behind her, hesitant to find out if anybody had followed. She would officially start anew without anyone watching at all. The cold wind blew on her face, and the moonlight beamed down, giving the forrest it's unspeakable mysterious beauty. The girl walked forward, not making a sound. Her throat went dry, and the serene setting calmed her nerves. "Here it goes, to all of those lives that I have affected...." She took out a tiny box out of her pocket and her wand in the other hand. Her prized possessions were inside that very rectangular prism, just waiting to come out. She knew that those souls would be given back to the Gods, if they really existed. She never believed in them, and just hoped that this wouldn't tangle her life, sending in the the fiery depths of hell where she really belonged with her parents and ancestors before her. "What is the silly child, doing? I thought we had disciplined her better..." |

Hellius sat quietly in the depths of the forbidden forest under the shade of a very tall oak tree. He had stalked out into the forest several hours beforehand in an attempt to ditch class. He wasn't interested in class that particular day as was evident; nothing interesting had caught his interest for several days. A small, close-to extinguished campfire lay near to him as his only source of heat for that night and the boy himself sat eerily still without any movement whatsoever. The slight breeze that howled through the morning air made him shiver and finally move for the first time in hours. He hissed. It's time to wake up, child. I feel... a presence. This doesn't feel very right, boy. I agree with him for once. He sat calmly and listened for any details that would give evidence to this visitor. |

Harmony entered the forbidden forrest. She had followed her cousin, just as instructed to do from the letter that was sent to her. Her mind was racing. All of this was supposed to be on the down low. nobody was supposed to know, unless witnesses would like to see what would happen as the former Geminis bonded for life. Heart of Gold, Harmony had the body of a youth, a mind of a mage beyond her years. She had been told that she was going to be the one to break the darkness that was her cousin. She was supposed to vanquish all that was evil. Yet here she was, standing in the previous steps of her opposite, yet her equal at the same time. She saw a shadow and simply ignored the pain-like feeling in her chest. The pangs wouldn't stop. Something wasn't right. "Everything all right?" She asked in her soft, angelic voice. The light vibrato in her throat emitted a sense of hope in the dark situation. |

There was a similar presence that he did feel. Hellius wasn't entirely sure of who, or what it was, but he did know that feeling from somewhere. Deciding to actually investigate, he jumped to his feet and then closed his eyes, listening and trying to analyze the entire situation. His muscles tensed as he heard a slight echo of a voice that he hadn't heard in quite a long time: Mascacra Demise. He thought about this and his memories completely overflowed his mind. He couldn't think of anything else or comprehend anything else; all he knew is that she was here. Opening his eyes and treading lightly, he cautiously approached where he felt as if she was. He attempted to be stealthy at all possible without giving his away his position. He passed through ivy, over roots, and down little knolls until he saw two people in the distance. Reaching back into his pocket for his wand, Hellius lost his footing and stepped back to regain his balance, snapping a twig in the process. |

Mascacra's eyes briskly but the box in her pocket and her eyes flashed around at the sudden noise of a twig. She squinted, warmness creeping upon her neck and on her forehead. Her black hair complimented her pale skin and her eyes darted over to where Hellius was. Tight lipped, she breathed in and took in his exterior. It had been a long time since they had talked. She was on the run, and had some mental issues concerning her health and her priorites to the wizarding society. She stepped forward, ignoring the voice of her cousin. She was drawn to Hellius. he seemed different somehow, and she was determind to find out why. "Long time no see, Hellius Surla. Long time, no see..." Her face held no expression and turned to her cousin and she folded her hands in the front of her body, fingers interlaced. "I would answer that question, Harmony...but it seems that we have company." "THAT WRETCHED GIRL! ASSOCIATING WITH THE ENEMY! We should have forseen this before, Love!" |

Hellius froze and decided to just go with it for the moment. His hiding spot had been jeopardized, so there was no point in trying to keep it as so. He came out, hands draped into the pockets of his black designer jacket, trying to decide what to do with this situation. He could do several things, all ending in the same probable outcome that he expected. Might as well be civil. Walking closer towards Mascacra, he smirked idly, his mind still riddled with the images of what they had done in the Shrieking Shack several years in advance. "So it has been, Mascacra Demise," he hissed, eying her up and down. "Still troubled by the constant yammering of your parents? I'm sure that they would absolutely love to do something productive instead of riding their own God forsaken daughter." |

Harmony saw the boy step forward to her cousin. Somehow, she had a feeling that that was in fact, not good at all. She glared at him with interfering with such matters. It was a big evening, the moon was young, and everything was in place. She inhaled and answered back to the boy. "For your information, she isn't troubled. There's nothing they can do anymore to physically hurt her. I've personally seen through that fact to be solved within all my power." She looked to he cousin, remembering the night when she asked her parents for help and welcomed Mascacra into their home with open arms. A charm had been put over their household so that no other wizarding individual could hear through mind, body, and soul. "What is your relationship with this guy? We should just get this over with before it's too late." She said and her eyes went a pale honey brown, suddenly. |

Mascacra looked at her cousin scornfully, her long eyelashes creating an umbrella, showering her dark eyes filled with hate in the few seconds that held that gaze. Returning back to the current situation, she murmured to Harmony in hushed and serious tone. "Hold your tongue, Finn. I think that I can speak for myself. So please shut your puff-filled gab of nonsense before I personally throw you into my hellhole along with the others! AND! If I think about changing my mind..." She scowled and crossed her arms. "Surla, I'm wholeheartedly sorry about my idiot cousin. She's a little mental in the head, if you know what I mean. About my parental units, I have heard from them, but I've chosen to follow my own path. And Ive heard that more poseurs are trying to follow our so called blood-steps. They have no idea what they are doing. She did a hair flip and with that, she looked to her cousin again, looking at the moon, glimmering down at their spot. Her eyes went pitch black. "There is no such thing as late...And Hellius, may come in handy." "Love, I'm lost.....The air seems warm and the outside seems lively. Where is the mind of our little girl?" "She'll come back, she always does." |

This is one of those moments that I wish I had full control still. Flauros hissed to himself. Inside of the inner chamber, his fingernails tapped angrily on a stone armrest on his throne. Oy, retarded wolf-thing! Can I say something before Hellius manages to screw up? There was no answer. The demon repeated his request. After a few moments, he was answered. Go nuts. Hellius sighed over the conversation going on in his head. He was starting to wonder if the things in his head were real or just his imagination, but he wasn't sure anymore. Before he could respond to what happened in his brain, there was a vibrant ringing in his ears and the back of his eyeballs felt as if they were being stabbed with rusty daggers. He leaned over, closed his eyes, and held at his head, but all actions after that stopped eerily. There wasn't any movement for a few moments, but eventually, Hellius rose back to his standing position. His stance was different and his posture seemed arrogant and proud. His eyes burned with a red tint and his lips were curled into a sadistic smirk. "Your parents, from what I can tell, were one of the few people that could actually lead you towards a life that would've been successful in beliefs that I found appropriate. However, the fact that you have decided to work for your own ideals, that makes you hopeless, Mascacra Elizabeth Demise," Hellius hissed in a dark, raspy voice. The boy made a small hair flip with his straightened hair to make it fall halfway over his eyes. He tried at all possible not to look at the girl. "Their methods were useless, I can assure that. But from what I know about you, your emotions will get caught up in the situation and send you in a completely opposite direction from where you want to go." He chuckled lightly to himself; his maniacal voice seemed to echo through the forest. "That's where you will be at fault your entire life. I can just see it in you." |

Mascacra's throat went dry, trying to hide the soft spot that was hit. Time has changed, and changed has time. She stood up straight and looked intimidating,Yet her eyes showed a sign of lighting up to a more dark brownish-grey. She blinked a couple of times. "So you're on their side, eh? Now it's all different. You know, a very wise and trusting person told me to just make the great escape. That person was you. You encouraged me to stand up and forget about all the pressure and having to do this....But here we stand." She continued, humanity in her voice. "You're telling me that I could be successful following them, but now I'm telling you thatn what you're saying is not completely true." "We're losing her....We have to do something..." "Masacra, my dear child. Please follow what this boy says, he does know much about what's best for you....even though he seems out of his house character." "Come home to us, Darling, we're the only ones you have left...." |

Harmony looked to her cousin, confused to why they would need the boy infront of them with their exclusive task. She whispered. "Why do we need him? We can do this ourselves. It'll be better is less or even better, no people know about what we're up to." She looked serious and stepped back, ignoring her cousin's threats, knowing that she would never do that to her. Or would she? Hearing about Mascacra's protests about being on the good side made her inwardly beam with pride. She was steering in the right direction. She did question about the boy and what his relationships with her cousin, but figured that they had met before. She then suddenly heard a voice in her head. What do they mean by the "only" ones left? My parents are there for her, |

"Ah yes, Mascacra. But there is just one little factor that you just aren't considering. You may do things yourself and be able to stick up for yourself, but when it comes down to it, your power would be completely undermined. Your parents would be able to help you succeed, even if they may kill you in the process. But look at it this way: If you're dead, you won't have to suffer through the abnormalities of life. You wouldn't have to deal with the constant bullshit that every man and woman on the planet would have to go through," Hellius hissed darkly. He brushed his hair out of his eyes and walked closer to the two girls with a maniacal smirk ravished across his face. His bloody red eyes seemed to glow in the darkness of the night. "You see.... I have seen the truth now. There is no right or wrong. There isn't a moral to anything. There isn't truly anything that can make you feel bad, just your conscience... which can be altered after time." He paused for a moment when he was less than two feet away from Mascacra. He gazed deep into her eyes. "Once you kill someone and feel the blood pouring from their veins, you can't truly ever go back." |

Mascacra realized what the hell Hellius meant by "there is not right and wrong". She knelt on her knees, facing no one, getting an incresingly familiar and vivid image in her head. Hals skipped to the door, smiling. It was her and her husband's anniversary and she hoped that those were the flowers that he had sent her from where he worked at the ministry. She smiled and giggled, remembering their last celebration and wondered it tonight would be extra special. She opened the door and saw someone she didn't expect to see. "Miss me, Sis?" Destiny said, under a large hood, her wand pointed at her sister. "Destiny, what are you doing here? I thought you were..." "Dead? Caught? Tsk, Tsk, You underestimate me." Halli took out her wand from her case near the starway as quickly as she could and pointed it right back at her sister, defending herself. With her other hand, she rubbed the heart-shaped necklace, as it was getting brighter and brighter, signaling her husband that an emergency had just broken out. "Little sister, answer my question. What the bloody hel are you doing here?" Halli's eyes wide. "Just came to celebrate your anniversary with you. It's family thing, you know?" She said, eyes seeming to dance upon the necklace. "Perhaps you want me to help you with that..." Destiny came forward Mascacra paled and stood up, wordless and looked to her cousin. "Harmony...Oh, Harmony..." |

Hellius looked at Mascacra as she knelt on the ground. His smirk evolved into a widened grin as he watched her with ever rising anticipation. My work here is done... The Gryffindor bowed his head and his hands shot to his temples. Rubbing them frantically, he hissed and looked back up, his ocean-blue eyes reflecting everything around him. |

Harmony felt the cool sensation of near death when she read little bits of Mascacra's mind. In the corner of her eye, she saw Hellius give a triumphant look and glance up to the sky. She strode nearer to her cousin and looked into her eyes. She concentrated, tapping into Mascacra' thoughts and tried to dig deeper, to get a visual image, but the voices were all that she had to hear. "No, that can't be happening..." "Get away from me, Destiny..If you know what's good for you." Hals said, wand direct. "I think that you're love's a bit...hung up for a moment. Now, why don't we look for a nice dress for you to wear for your anniversary...." Destiny grabbed her sister's hand and led her up the stairs. "You'll look like an absolute doll." Destiny tried to squirm out of her cousin's grip on her wand hand and soon she was dragged, with bruises on her delicate face, to her bedroom. She held her breath, losing circulation. "Kai!" Halli screamed as there her husbad was, dressed in his wedding tuxedo, Trying to balance on a muggle beach ball, rope as tight as possible to his neck, but he was still alive. he seemed to be mute, there was nothing coming out of his mouth. Lestat sat on the bed, one needle in hand. "Well, it's about time you girls got here, Kai started to think that his wife was going to ditch their anniversary." Harmony pulled out of her cousin's mindstream. "Y-Your parents...H-How did...How did they...We have to go home NOW Mascacra! My parents are in trouble!" Harmony cried, trying to budge her sister from her spot. She looked to Hellius. "You! Make her move!" |

Hellius looked back down at the two girls, a migraine feeling like it was about to split his forehead in two. He hissed wildly and retrieved his wand, raising it quickly at Harmony without a second thought. "Wa-wait. Did you just tell me to do something? When did you become the master? When did you get put in charge? Lemme ask you something: do you really believe everything that you see? Are you actually convinced by everything that your brain thinks it sees, or would you rather actually experience it? What do you believe would get the concept across easier?" He almost laughed, but the pain in his head was indescribable. He flicked his wand. "Eructo sceleratus." |

Harmony clutched onto her cousin's shoulder but felt a whole wad of sticky-bittersweet liquid coming up her throat. She leaned on the ground and threw up blood. She threw up again and once more. She was all tired out when she hack up more, again. Her eyes became the lightest blue as she stared at the ground, hands on the ground, feeling dirty with the red watery substance. "H-how could you do this?" Destiny pushed her cousin to Lestat's lap and he put on a dark seductive face, and his breath was as cold as ice, breathing into Halli's neck. She stood up and tried to make her way over to the door, but Des blocked her, eyeing her empty wand hand. Destiny waved her wand and as soon as that happened, Halli was in her beautiful bridal outfit that she had worn to her wedding. "Finally, here we stand....Why didn't you invite me, Halliah? Why didn't you invite your own sister to your wedding?" Deistiny began to mock cry. Harmony spit out more blood. "You know the consequences of inviting you both! I was going to say "yes" to giving you guys another chance! But Kai told me not to, hearing about wht you and Lestat have been up to, Destiny! And I now agree with him!" Halli screamed, standing her ground. "Honey, why don't we try and sink this loveboat? And by loveboat, I mean silly muggle beachball...After that, we'll let in Harmony to join in the fun. Mascacra should have lots of fun on this little playdate" Destiny spoke. "It will be my honor, my love..." Lestat whispered and knelt down, looking at Kaidone with twinking eyes. "NO!" Halliah screamed. "What are you willing to offer?" Destiny inquired. "Take me first, take ME instead! Please son't hurt Harmony or Kaidone...All I ask of you...." Harmony felt totally and utterly sick, she looked to Hellius with unforgiving eyes. |

Mascacra's eyes widened and saw her cousin throw up blood on the floor, as Hellius intended with his spell, that she recognized instantly. "H-Hellius, what had happened to you? You're a totally different person now....I have to say..." She started and started down at her cousin who was being physically tortured on the inside. "I'm impressed." She crossed her arms, and touched the top of Harmony's platinum blonde angelic head. ::But this was all my fault....If I hadn't agreed to meet at her house, my parents wouldn't have known the streets around it, and they were thinking of me....torturing her...Why do I feel somewhat satisfied with my thoughts? These pictures, these flashbacks?:: "Flashbacks..." She murmured, and said another thing louder. "That means that this has.....already happened.." |

OOC: Sorry, I just had to edit your post because of a color error that was driving me crazy. xD BIC: Hellius hissed and looked at Mascacra, still confused beyond all reason of just what she was talking about. He looked at her with his bloodshot eyes and took deep breaths in an attempt to make his migraine subside, but all hope for that was lost. All he could hear was the pounding of his own heart that beat harder and harder inside his own ears and it was beginning to drive him mad. Letting out a frustrated groan, Hellius raised his wand at Mascacra. "So many impulses... and so many different possibilities could pass me by right here. I'm not going to let that happen." He flicked his wand in an ever familiar pattern, imagining ropes tightly bound to Mascacra's legs and arms, attached to the trees around them. "Incarcerous." |

Harmony breathed in and out, slowly and began to try and regain her balance. She grabbed onto a stern low branch of a tree and her arm was somewhat trying to hold onto it. "So, what you're trying to say is that....My parents are dead already? I'm an orphan now?! On their anniversary!?" She gulped, trying to keep down the rest of the blood in her body from getting out again. She felt a deep burning anger from the bottom of her heart and just wanted to scream out loud. But, she didn't. She confined her temper to ragged, deep breaths, and one of the darkest glares she could ever muster. "I should have known this all along! You were working for them the WHOLE time! And now you regret it, feeling all guilty now! But too bad! Guilt won't bring my parents back! After all they did....We tried to protect you, Scacra." She saw her cousin then tied up by the trees. Her eyes darted to Hellius. She pointed her wand at him. "I'm refusing you to do this to her. Occula Lumos Maxima!" Her wand emitted a blinding light, going straight to Hellius' face. She then turned quickly to her cousin and pointed her wand at the branches, swishing and flicking. "Reducto Herbologia!" |
