Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control?

The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make?

Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? It's up to each individual to decide their fate, where will you decide to go?

I narrowed it down to three that fit Ian's personality. Personally, I don't want Ian to be anything too fierce, so I'm leaning more towards being a small fox that can get in and out of small holes and move unseen.

An owl would be nice to, seeing as the can fly silently.

The wolf would be good too, as they are hunters and would give Ian some ability to fight other fiercer animagi.

Seeing as Kathlin is already taking an interest in him I think that a wolf would be best suited to him. Also it would give her a connection to him more than any other friend.

So, you're planning to train Animagus too? (Annie started last year. ;))

I'm thinking of a cat for her... Bushy coat, tiger stripes and peircing green eyes. slight markings around the eyes. ;)

How's he gonna start the training? If you have no ideas, then I can make Annie talk to Riley about it and Ian can overhear?

Now to Ian, owls are known to be really smart, but thats not one of the adjectives Ian would first be described with.

Wolves are not fitting either, seeing as they're actually very open and social in their flock.

Fox is the best, seeing as they're known to be sneaky and such. GO FOX, Ian!

I voted owls, for some reason I just think they seem like they have an good and a bad side, which Ian sort of has, plus like you said they fly silently (which my science teacher didn't belive when I said that like a year ago) and Ian's character is slightly hidden etc.

Meh just my random thoughts.

Fox and wolf are both great, but I voted wolf b/c foxes are sly and cunning. More of what we've been seeing of Ian lately has been a more human side, less sly, less cunning. Owl could be better though, especially a great big one, like the Great Horned Owls.

I chose wolf cause it just seemed to fit... foxes are too cute for your character... owls you can't really do much damage with... a wolf you can bite someone's head off as.

I voted for Owl, because it seems fit for your character. I don't know why, buy it seemed right.

If we see a man glorifying his race, gender, or creed, we can understand there is nothing about himself that deserves glorification.

Cry a river, would you?

Bah, anyways, I think that the fox is more suitable for Ian's personality. He is sneaky (impersonating a Pureblood) and is more than able to slip his way out of bad situations.

Fox. Problem solved.

As your Transfiguration Professor I suppose I should offer my opinion on what I believe your form will be.

Your have offered up the choices of an owl, an fox, and a wolf.

An owl is a symbol of intelligence, something you certainly possess but is much more Ravenclaw-esque in nature and not quite you.

The wolf I believe is too vicious and overt for someone of your skills.

The fox is perfect. This creature is lithe and graceful, yet is able to avoid detection when necessary. It is not the baddest animal around but can certainly take care of itself.

You are a fox, Mr Ponte du Lac. That much is obvious.
Cheers to Savannah Edkins for the signature.

Okay. Fox it is.

And Beau, I think I already said that if Ian learns the Patronus charm, a Tiger would it. (That's if though, he'd be older it he does) (I took a personality test as Ian to see what Patronus would come up and Tiger seemed to fit in that respect)

Thank you all for voting.
