Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit. Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control? The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make? Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? Unregistered	Ben stood up as Hellius exited, leaving just him alone with Tortal once more like some several meetings in the past, although now Ben had a bigger question to ask of him. He approached the wearing, powerful professor as now nobody was around to comment, something Hellius or someone else may do on this question. "Ah Professor Tortal, this power thing you were talking about with Hellius, I need to ask," he paused thinking slightly about how to word this before continuing, "Recently there has been these weird going-ons with plants, I remember plants being one of the elements talked about last lesson, I was wondering do you think that the way that you told Hellius would perhaps work with me and plants, that is, however I have that power with them, that plants that is."

If you over heard that entire conversation with Hellius, then yes, those things will work with your element," Charles paused and held out his hand again. He made the motion with his hand that would work for the spell a couple of times and then dropped his arm. "The incantation is 'Compos elementum'. You will need the correct emotion for your element for the spell to work at all."

Unregistered	"So pratically if I use that spell, while concentrating on the element of flowers or plants or whatever then something should happen, I'm guessing it will take a long time though?" Ben asked, before thinking about what this power could mean.

What happened today was to shed more light on what controls the element controlling ability. Thoughts, emotions, and imagination. That is what you must use to actually be able to even begin to start learning. This is something you generally must do on your own. I cannot help you through every step." Sighing, he looked at the boy with a slightly annoyed look. It was difficult to explain...

Unregistered	Ben nodded, "Ok, I will take note of all that Professor, Thankyou, I will work over it in the coming nights, thankyou once more for making it clearer to me." he smiled to the man, knowing although in a way he disliked him, he respected him for helping him a few times with some troubles. With that he exited.
