Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control?

The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make?

Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? It's up to each individual to decide their fate, where will you decide to go?

Fera Collis
Fifth Year

Fera entered the room and looked around. She sent arrogant looks to everyone who wondered why she had a bloodsoaked piece of her rob tied around her arm again. At least she wasn't the only one wounded. She sat down on a random chair and started working on the spell.

Her eyes flew over to Garreth... Was he crying? But... He was still smiling? Fera had no idea what the boy meant, did he like crying? Did he like showing weakness infront of people? Fera was shivering at the mere thought. Being weak... as she once were, would never bring Fera any good. Tears started to want to press through her own eyes. Crying is weak... I will not show weakness... She pushed them back and continued on the spell.

The feather soared to her, and hit her in the middle of her face, since she couldn't manage to grab it with her bloody arm. Fera groaned, put her wand away, and removed the feather, which had in some way managed to stick to her face.

OOC|| I didn't mean that they say MY feather. They still say Accio Feather but think of their own private feather. The former was an example of the magic, as I think it works, in mugglestyle.;)

Kelly's eyes fastened on the girl who arrived. It can't be...? She's too young... Then she must be...? Oh-no... If Kelly's beliefs were correct, then this would be the girl who ruined her father... Kelly put on a worried look and went over to her, "Are you alright, miss?"

Fera looked up at the professor and grabbed her wand. "I'm fine, thank you. I mostly am." She didn't like this woman, to sweet and helpy... To false.

Kelly's eyes widened when the girl looked up. This must be... "Veronica Treed?" Kelly suddenly shook her head at her own words, "No, you can't be... You're to young... I must stop... chanting... But... Still?" Kelly was speechless for the second time in her life.

Fera raised her eyebrow waringly, "Fera Collis, not Veronica Treed. I have no idea of who you mean." Still the name ringed a bell deep inside... Fera looked down.

Ben raised his hands, "Wait before you answer that," he stated, interupting anyone who was going to answer his previous question of what had happened to make the atmosphere of the room so gloomy.

He looked around and noticed Julian etc, before his eyes laid upon Fera Collis, a girl who had confronted him many of times, she looked down and depressed. Ben hobbled over to her slowly, trying to be un-noticed by the people who disliked him of the class.

"Yo, Fera whats up?" he asked concerningly. Like some of the others of the class, he could tell her mood was not good.

Fera gritted her teeth to gain some strength, "Nothing, for gods sake. I'm just sick of this. This life, I almost wish I died in those forests, what the heck is the use of going here? The closter was much better, here people faint just because I overworked my arm so it started bleeding again and that Garreth goes on my nerves with all his ravenclawness. The teacher thinks I'm some girl named Veronica Treed, a name I've heard before but I have no idea where. And now suddenly I'm known to the teachers as that girl who talks to wolves. IT ISN'T POSSIBLE TO TALK TO WOLVES! I CAN ONLY COMUNICATE WITH THEM FOR... GAH!" Fera had, without knowing it raised her voice with each word. She lowered her voice and slammed her head into the desk. "Miss... I'm going to the bathroom." With that she left for the halls, she couldn't stand staying in that room longer and she had a question she needed answered.

Callie entered the room just as a girl with red hair was leaving. Callie didnt take much notice; she didnt know her, and she didnt look to happy. Not to mention she needed to get into charms. She walked into the large room, looking around.

Students from all houses were gathered around, and there seemed to be a lot going on. She didnt know anyone, but stood at the front, looking from one face to the next for someone she might recodnise, and looking for the teacher. Her eyes had passed over the hufflepuff boy before she realised something. She did a double take, then stared at him intesly, frowning slightly.

He looked familiar... like she had seen him before. Not at Hogwarts, but at her home in London. People were always dropping by the house and she didnt have time to speak to all of them, nor was she always allowed to. Her Aunt often brought people home, and Callie was sure she rememberd this boy. If they had met before, they had never exchanged more then a few words...

Ben turned back to the class upon watching Fera storm out of the room in a huff, after he had asked her what was wrong, he decided against following her out and was sufixed upon finishing charms, without any trouble.

Upon turning back round, his eyes caught another Gryffindor staring upon him. He was unaware of her own thoughts, but his own were those that she looked familiar to him as well.

He wandered over to the girl, she may of been just a quiet student whom he had seen only a couple of times before, but he had to make sure.

"Hey, I'm Ben Thomas, Have I seen you around here before?" he asked.

Tristan was about to make a comment to Ben when the bell sounded from outside the room, signalling the end of a fascinating Charms lesson. The Charm they had learned would definitely come in handy, even if only to further aggravate Julian and his pals. Grinning at the thought, he headed for his first Divination lesson, apparently taught by an actual centaur!

Callie looked up as the bell rang. Brilliant, she had missed everything.
When Ben came over to her she smiled, looking at him curiously. She knew now that she recodnised him... he seemed to think she same about her. Not to mention the last name... Thomas.
"No," she answered, "Im new here, but I was wondering if Id seen you before." she looked at him, slightly irrirated that the memory escaped her. "I just cant think where. Im Callie. Callie Thomas," she looked up at him.

A suprised look appeared on Ben's face, her second name was Thomas. Was she the long lost magic connection he had given up on looking for during his first year? He knew he had some kind of magic connection in his family line but was it her?

He heard the bell go but dismissed it for now, the next class would not be ready for a while yet and after all this was more important to him then Divination.

"Thomas? Erm.. This is a weird question but, as we seem to recognise eachother and ths same second name..you don't reckon we could be related do you?"

Callie was about to reply with a firm no. Hadnt her Aunt told her she didnt have any family before dismissing the entire subject? But then agian, this was the same Aunt who wouldnt even tell her her parents names.

It was starting to seem like nothing regarding her family could be ruled out. "I dont know..." she said, still skeptical. "I live with my Aunt in London, and she told me there was no other family. Just us and my parents." she paused, then added, "And I dont know them. "

She searched his face for some kind of family resebelence, but found nothing obvious. Was is possible that they were related?

Ben was once again suprised by the fact her aunt lived in London, this was the same as himself. He had a rich aunt who lived in delightful and non-rough part of London. This added more confusion and another weird tie together.

"Is you aunt rich? I have one who lives in the nice part of London, although I've only ever seen her once in my lifetime." he sighed, this could of been when he had seen Callie once, "In some family party thing for Christmas or Easter, something like that."

OOC - The aunt saying she had no other family works with the squib bit we planned.

Garrett heard the bell and looked at Ben. "Why haven't you left yet?" he asked, without noticing the Gryffindor girl. He looked at her with a deep and solemn look on his face. "I'm Garrett, nice to meet you." he said plainly. Coughing, he looked at the two of them. They look alike, but... I can't find out how... They just look like they are related somehow. He shook his head. He again looked at the girl. "Are you new here? I haven't seen you around."

He put his wand in its holster, as it seemed to have fallen out. He wiped the dried tears from his face and grinned. "Well, you two seem busy. I am gonna go head for Divination." He said, a good clean smile on his face. A few minutes ago the bell had rung, and that was dismissal for Charms, and time to head for Divination. He coughed and looked at the ceiling. I'm bored.... he thought. He looked at them both again, and without waiting for a reply and said. "Well, I'll see you two around." And with that, Garrett headed for Divination.

Ella was distracted from her happy experiments with the summoning charm when a Gryffindor suddenly stormed out of the room after throwing a fit. She raised her eyebrows as she watched her leave. well, that was...odd

She turned to ask Ben what had happened, but before she could do so the bell rang to signal the next class.

"Right...I have to be off to divination (((I think...))). See you!" she said to Ben, smilng at him before hurrying out, not wanting to be late for two classes in a row.

Callie scowled slightly. Why was he asking if her Aunt was rich like he already knew the answer? This felt weird, but she replied anyway. Her upbringing was something to be proud of. He neednt know how much she hated certain aspects of it.

But before she could answer, a Ravenclaw boy came over. She smiled at him as he said his name, though looked him over, confused but not deterred by the solemn look on his face. "Callie, likewise." she said. When he left, she turned back to Ben.

"Yes, she is, actually," she smiled. "We live in London, one of the biggest houses there is." this may or may not have been true, but Callie suspected that it was. London wasnt famous for its manors with sweeping lawns, but Callies Aunts house came close.

ooc; yeh, are we going with the whole embarassed of having a squib in the family thing?

OOC - Yeah that all works out :D

"Ok, now that's slightly weird." Ben said, before thinking about the situation. Everything seemed to fit into place, they were obviously family or this was just one big fat conciedence.

"It seems weird to say so, But I reckon we could be related, it all seems to fit into place, but im not 100 percent sure yet."

Callie's frown deeped at that. This was... a lot to comprehend. Had she been lied to her whole life? Had she stared a family member right in the face and not been told about it? Who else had she seen around town that she was related to, a cousin, a uncle, her parents?

"Aunt Marissa always told me I didnt have family." she said, but the memory was becoming clearer. "Easter, 3 years ago, thats when we met... you were with your parents... or just your dad, I cant remember meeting your mom."
