Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit. Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control? The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make? Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? The Headmistress unlocked the Charms room, opening the door and peering in. She had noticed the locked door and decided to open it for any eager students who didn't want to wait in the hall for the professor. It seems my professors are becoming accustomed to being late. She thought with a bemused expression, before leaving the Charms room.

Unregistered	Ben entered the classroom which appeared to have been left empty, but someone had to have been inside as it was unlocked and ready for action, just without the Professor. He wanderd over and took a seat in the front right corner and awaited the arrival of a Professor to teach or a student to chat to.

Sixth Year Posts: 858 Group: Slytherin Member #171 Joined: Jul 27 2007 Age 15 Location Pennsylvania, USA	Ella opened the door to the classroom to find only Ben sitting in there. She sat down next to him and greeted him cheerfully while she sat, pulling her things out of her bag and getting organized and whatnot. As she always was during Charms,Ella was in a good mood, anxious to begin.

Unregistered	Ben greeted and smiled at Ella as she joined him, he pulled out his own belongings as she did, yet not organizing his like hers - instead leaving them in a weirdly shaped pile of papers, books and quills. He turned to his friend as he awaited their teacher, and began to start a conversation. "You seem very cheerful" he said, smiling himself.

Magical Concepts Professor Posts: 315 Group: External Citizen Member #87 Joined: Feb 11 2007	Entering the class in a hurried pace, Charles rushed to the desk and dropped his things. Tossing his fedora next to his briefcase and turning back towards the black board, he drew his wand from his pocket and flicked it at it. Good morning students and welcome back to Charms. This year we are going to cover more complicated magic and extend your magical ability past that of what you had last year. We shall start our class with the color change spell. Each of you will need to choose from one of these four boxes; each of which has a specific non dangerous animal. The color change incantation is "Mutatio" followed by the desired color. If you are not focused enough, the animal will change a lighter color then you wished for. IE: Red would go to pink and Black to grey etc, etc, etc. Take these notes and then start. Turning away from the board and flicking his wand at the ground, four boxes appeared almost simultaneously; one red, one blue, one green, and one yellow. Charles soon pocketed his wand and turned back to the class. "You may work in pairs. Begin." He watched and observed.

Unregistered	"Yeah, today is a happy day." he smiled in reply, then smiling again seconds later to greet Jodi. He gave Jodi a quick kiss on the cheek and proceeded to wait for whoever was teaching the class today. Ben sighed as Tortal entered, he was not the teacher he would choose to start the year with, despite him helping with his dark magic problem at the end of last year. He turned to the others (Jodi and Ella), "Which one of you two wish to work with me" he said, sticking a tounge out, "First-come first-serve" he joked.

"I should deduct points because no one did anything, but it's not my problem; it's your education. Get out." Picking up his coat and putting it back on, he turned back to his briefcase and picked it up. He left the Charms classroom.
