Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit. Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control? The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make? Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? The tone that meant no less than, do as I say, or else. Yvette looked at the girl, "Now, just so you know," She pointed her wand at the book on the desk, and whispered so low no-one could hear "Flagrate, reducio." The spells were said right after eachother, making a illusion of her burning the book into nothing. "I'm no-one who likes being pushed around. And you are not to, I repeat, not to, insult these people, though they deserve each fowl word, If you want to be with me. You won't want me as an enemy." She pointed her wand against Jodi, "She's the boy's girlfriend, I made a deep sore in her shoulder, huge bloodloss." She turned it to Ben, "I broke his arm using dark magic." She took away her wand from them and pointed it at Bella, "See?"

"Now, now...who said I was trying to insult them, although I don't see why you would care if I did... Halfbreed, Mudblood...it's just what they are. It's not their fault, but they are simply inferior and need to be..." she put of the burning book on the girl's desk "controlled...really, it for their own good!" she said, her eyebrows raised and a smirk playing on her thin lips. She was determined to show the girl no fear, but at the same time didn't want to do anything rash. Yvette was someone she could seriously consider forming a sort of alliance with.

"Well, the solution there is to simply not get caught! If they don't have any evidence, they can't do a thing! And if they do...well, they could get in trouble for interrogating helpless students with Legimency, couldn't they?" she said shrugging lightly. "The Black family if one of the oldest families today, completely pure as long as records show" she said, holding her head high. "My Mother was a Rosier, a family that rivals even the Noble and Most Ancient House of Black. What more do you need to know?"

Fifth Year Posts: 188 Group: Gryffindor Member #176 Joined: Jul 31 2007	Clif entered the class room Clif entered the charms class room, having lost his way in one of the corridors trying to get the door to open, before realizing that he had gone to the wrong corridor. He searched the class room and saw Ben and August next to each other. There seemed to be something going on there. She's with you. Plus Ben's a good guy. You can trust him. He is with Jodi as well Clif though though noticing now that despite Jodi sitting next to Ben, he was paying her no attention. Clif made a mental note to talk to Ben after class about this. Seeing that August Jodi and Ben had filled the desk Clif shrugged and decided to sit next to someone else for a change. Clif found a Ravenclaw with messy hair sitting alone. "Hey, I'm Clif" said Clif. The girl was very attractive and Clif had to try his hardest not to do something stupid. OOC: two can play that game.

Mac had told her about the girl. "Watch out for a first year, Miss Collins has a talent for Charms. A prodigy of sorts." "Miss Collins, approach my desk" Professor O'Neil said in a firm voice. after she checked the notes of the students. "Good, you may begin practicing the spells" Erin said.

"Ooch" Erin said seeing that the lesson was almost over. "Okay, pack it up we've done for today. Your exams are coming up soon and I'm sure you will all do well. Miss Collins, if you could remain behind I'd like a word. The rest of you trot off teh yer next classes" Erin said, the Irish in her flaring up again towards the end.

Unregistered	Before August could answer the Professor declared the end of the lesson, he packed his things away after an enjoyable lesson with the Gryffindor girl, whom he was looking forward to their meeting later. He made sure Jodi wasn't looking before giving August a small wink, "I'll see you all later", saying the later strongly as a way of reminding to August to not forget their meeting later tonight. With that he exited, happy with the lesson.

"It was nice talking to you" Clif said to the Ravenclaw, though he hadn't really listened, he spent his lesson watching Ben and August. Clif picked his books and shoved them in his bag. Not even looking or talking to August. Clif was throbbing with anger. His eyes only for Ben. Clif ran out of the class room

Then, when the teacher called her to stay after, Ella sighed and shook her head. She had let her dislike (not to mention her rather quick temper) for the Ravenclaw get the best of her, and now she was going to lose even more points for Slytherin. Muttering, she hoisted her bag over her shoulder and walked up to the front. "Yes, Professor?"

Away yesterday & missed so many good posting opportunities. & sorry you two, but I can't let you get away with all of that! Ic: After sitting down, Jodi listened absently to the conversation going on between her boyfriend and one of her best friends (ooc: feeling guilty yet?? lol) She was confused at their behavior at first, but soon realized what was going on. Of course, she didn't know anything about their plans for later that day, but she had soon realized that they were flirting quite openly with each other. Being a person who hated to assume the worst, she simply kept her mouth shut, despite the strong feelings of hurt and betrayal that she was experiencing. She proceeded to practice the size-modifying spells by herself, first on a sheet of parchment, then the chair beside her eventually, turning to read her own textbook. However, she found herself unable to focus completely, and felt the need to say something in hopes that they might realize she wasn't quite stupid enough to miss all of the goings-on right beside her. Just when she was about to speak, the bell sounded indicating the end of class, and she decided to simply watch the pair for the rest of the day to see if they acted in the same way. With that thought, Jodi packed up her things and left the classroom.

From what I have witnessed he is quiet right in saying that you are very talented and well advanced in the field of Charms. Especially considering your age" Erin said to the girl wondering how to continue before making her point clear. "However, I do not want to see you hurting another student in my class. Unless you are under attack, which I doubt you will ever be in my class. You have no right to attack another student. You shall not be punished, nor shall I be taking any house points seeing as Professor Macdonald thinks so highly of you. Let this be a lesson. You have been given a gift, you must now take on the responsibility of that gift. Do not abuse it. You are free to go, unless you have any questions" Erin said, never letting her eyes leave the girls. Erin sensed great power behind the girl, she needed to know how to harness that power. Then she could become great.
