Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control?

The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make?

Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? It's up to each individual to decide their fate, where will you decide to go?

Sixth Year Posts: 858 Group: Slytherin Member #171 Joined: Jul 27 2007 Age 15 Location Pennsylvania, USA	She raised an eyebrow "I would assume in the classroom..." she answered, unable to keep sarcasm from her voice. And with that, she stood up, wand in her hand and a smirk on her face. "I'll go first" she said, once Roxy had joined her. And, without further adu, she pointed her wand at the girl and said "Potrificus Totalus!" The wand seemed to flow through her arm and out of her wand, before going stright at the girl. Ella knew, even before it hit Roxy, that the spell was stronger than it should be, as she hadn't tried to control the spell in the least. She watched as the body bind drew nearer the Girl.

She was cursing in her mind and knew that she was beat. "THAT BITCH, I CAN'T BELIEVE SHE JUST DID THAT TO ME! SHE HAS NO IDEA WHAT SHE GETTING INTO!" Roxy knew what exactly what was going to do. First she needed to get out of this bind.

This was perfect for her "lunch" plans. Roxy stormed back to her seat ,and looked into her bag to make sure she had brought the potion she made over the holidays. She had great plans for lunch and Collins had know idea what was coming.

Every attempt to amuse herself had failed miserably, and the only people present were those she wouldn't be caught dead talking to. So far, the entire class had been utterly useless, and Bella was almost beside herself with boredom. Struck with a sudden idea, Bellatrix pointed her wand casually at the group of people sitting near her and muttered a jinx out of the corner of her mouth. Hopefully, this would cause at least enough commotion to amuse her until break... :rolleyes:

Unregistered	August smiled genuinely as Jodi joined the group, feeling a flicker of further guilt at flirting with Ben as Jodi was one of few she considered a good friend. At this point the charm imbued into the makeup kit kicked in once again and eliminated any such feelings at her behavior. "Join us?" Motioning the other side of Ben, eager to see whether she could still flirt with Ben with Jodi seated beside him and not get caught. The thrill of being caught out was exhilarating! "Let's practice the charms. I'll go first, yes?" She withdrew her wand and considered which to try first. "How about 'Engorgio'? Can you handle it, Ben?" Her voice suddenly serious, a hint of mischief in her eye. "Engorgio!" ooc > So many possible jokes here with this charm!

Unregistered	Ben smiled as Jodi joined them, along with Ella whom seemed to be having her own little argument with a Ravenclaw, he decided not to get involved as there was probably some history there. Ben agreed to practice the charms although normally he would go with Jodi, however she seemed not to be ready, so he accepted August's invite to practice them, although she had not answered him on where to meet later. Although upon seeing where, August had aimed the spell he blocked it with a book, causing the book to grow and expand largely. "Now what were you planning there" He said joking and smiling at the same time.

August cast a mischievous smirk, pushing her hair from her eyes as she did so. "Let me see that book for a second," taking the book from his lap, brushing his leg as she did. She flipped to the page on the Engorgio charm and surreptitiously picked up her quill, scribbling a brief and coded message to Ben. As she wrote she kept her eyes focused on Ben and Jodi, talking to distract from what she was doing. "So you guys ready for the Exams?" August was quite impressed with her ability to write a message without even looking. It had taken her weeks to master the use of a quill when she was so used to pens and pencils. Finishing, she tapped the book with her wand, "Reducio." The book shrank to its original size. "I win." Flicking her eyes to Ben's, she hoped her look would be enough for him to get the hint. 10. Astronomy.

Unregistered	Ben smiled at August's comments after the book enlargement, she then proceeded to write in the book and shrink it back to it's normal size. He took then book back from her, returning a small brush of his finger on her own leg, making sure Jodi wouldn't notice. He read the message from August, he solved it to mean meeting her in Astronomy later today, he winked showing that he had understood it and went on to answer he question. "Yeah I think I'm just about ready, How about you?"

Deciding that he was game for it, August was quite looking forward to their late night rendezvous. "Sure am! I'm really looking forward to second year actually. Plus I get to see my Dad again." Her thoughts strayed from her flirtations with Ben to that of her father alone back home, her mother off with whichever random man she had picked up in a bar. Taking a deep breathe to calm herself, August jokingly offered her chest forward, "Your turn to practice?" She held still for a moment before giggling, "Actually better not. Who knows what you'll do to me. But still, your turn."

"You don't need anything done eithier" he said, disguising it so only she would understand what he meant. Instead he turned his attention to a pencil on the desk, "Engorgio" he said, resulting in the pencil growing and then rolling off the table like he planned. He reached out with his leg to get the pencil with his foot, disguising that he was really rubbing August's leg with his own.

Unregistered	She was surprised at the enthusiasm that Ben was putting into their little game. Though always seen as a nice guy, she had never considered him the flirtatious type, bestowing that title more on the player Clif or perhaps Abaddon (only other first year guy I could think of). Yet the feel of his leg so blatantly rubbing against her own suggested that perhaps their little game could result in something a little more fun, given the right atmosphere. Why Mr Thomas, I had no idea! She caught his eye, blowing him the smallest of kisses as a sign that she was enjoying their game. The innuendo wasn't lost either as he had cast Engorgio on a pencil. August reached down and grabbed it before he could reach, "I believe this is your pencil." She offered it back to him but pulled it away at the last second, tapping to the right of her mouth with it, knowing she was being very suggestive. She allowed it to brush her lips before returning it. August wasn't particularly in the mood for magic and was enjoying talking with Ben. She moved her chair back partially from the desk, crossing her legs to reveal her knee high socks. "So, Ben, what do you think?" Her expression and head movement would make most believe she was inquiring as to his feelings of the castle, yet he would get the message.

Unregistered	She considered pulling her skirt up a bit further but decided that was going to far. Your not a tramp so why are you doing this? Yet again she ignored her conscience. Deciding to change things up a bit, August thought it might be fun to now play stone cold in attempt to confuse him. Her smile vanished and she uncrossed her legs, pulling her seat back into the table. She picked up her Charms book and began to read as if interested. "Excuse me, Ben, but I'm trying to read here? Tsk!"

Having enjoyed the past fifteen minutes with Ben she decided that perhaps she should focus some of that effort on her Charms, it was her best subject after all. However every few minutes she couldn't help herself from glancing at Ben, watching him pretend to read his textbook.
