Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit. Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control? The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make? Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? Posts: 2,756 Group: Ravenclaw Member #114 Joined: Mar 9 2007	Tristan made his way to the Ravenclaw table and plonked himself down, quite ravenous after a day so full of exhaustive magic and rain. He immediately tore into a bread rool and sighed with relief as his stomach began to fill with food. He scanne the Hall, looking for someone or something to entertain him. OOC - Someone do something interesting. I'm open to suggestions.

Unregistered	Ben entered the main hall, noticing Tristan sat on his own in a nearly empty main hall, which was suprising because he reckoned the rain would bring alot of people inside. He decided to show off one of his new spells he had learnt today at Tristan. "Flagrate" Ben made a smiley face with the fire and hovered it above his Ravenclaw friend.

Third Year Posts: 129 Group: Slytherin Member #138 Joined: May 20 2007	James made his way up from the lower dungeons. He walked slowly and casually not in any rush. He walked past a group of firsts years coming out of a class room. James entered the Great Hall and took his seat at the slytherin table. There was barely anybody seated yet for lunch. He looked around and say tristan wolfing down his meal. What exampliery manners from a half blood. No dignity, no pride, he acts like a mere muggle. James thought to himself. James looked down table at the food provided by the kitchen slaves. James reached over and grabbed some turkey and some potatoes a little ways down the table. He was swooped down low over the slytherin and ravenclaw table (OOC i believe ravenclaw and slytherin are next to each other right?)and was shaking feverntly to get all the rain off of him. He dowsed the nearest students with the rain water. He flew fast past the tables picking up chunks of bread and dropping them in the bowls of soup. With soup splashing every where kail cackled and zoomed out the great halls doorway leaving nuts for unexpecting students to trip on.

She was cold and wet, two things that didn't exacly make her happy. Ella did not want to have to deal with the older slytherins in her mood. So, she headed over to the Ravenclaw table where Tristan and Ben were sitting. Not wanting to interrupt their conversation, Ella simply plopped herself down and began eating. Just as she was buttering a role, she suddenly felt a shower of water on her already dripping hair. She yelped in suprise and looked around. "What was that?" she asked the two boys, all previous thoughts about not wanting to interrupt forgotten.

"No, it couldn't have been,seeing as there's six or seven floors above us!" now that she was out of the rain and into the warm Hall, her mood was deffinatly improving. "God, lucky I'm not on a diet." She grinned, and put some cheese and ham on her sandwich. Mm... Delicious. She thought. Vendela sighed, "Are all the meals this good? Or is it just because I'm starving it tastes so good?"

He wandered over to the group of people talking including a Hufflepuff, Slytherin, Ravenclaw and a Gryffindor. "Oh misters and mistresses, do you like Bibby and fellow house elfs work?"
