Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit. Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control? The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make? Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? Substitute Professor Posts: 23 Group: Professor Member #227 Joined: Nov 25 2007	Erin who was already in the class room from the last class put the new notes up on the board. Aloha Morah, "Aloha Morah" is the charm which can unlock basic locks, it is handy but due to it's simplicity it is often not strong enough. The charm though is simple and effective. The incantation is aloha morah and the wand movement is a simple prod at the lock. The charm indicates success by making an audible clicking sounds. "Colloportus" is the counter to Aloha Morah and locks doors and gateways. Again, Colloportus is very simply but can also be effective. The wand movement is exactly the same for both and the incantation for the counter charm is Colloportus. The success of the spell is indicated by a squelching sound. In front of all of you there is a miniature door on the desk for you to practice on. "Whenever you have taken down the notes you can begin on yer doors" Erin said at the entering students.

"Hello Professor..."He said softly greating Erin and nodded looking at the notes that were listed on the board as he toke his seat taking out some peices of paper and then started to take down the notes

Second Year Posts: 177 Group: Gryffindor Member #184 Joined: Aug 27 2007	Jodi entered the classroom and noticed that they had a different professor today. "Hello, Professor," she said with a smile before taking a seat at the front of the room. She carefully read over the instructions, took a few notes, and set to work on the small door in front of her. "Aloha morah," she muttered, and after a short pause, there was a loud click. Not too bad. she thought, before continuing onto the next half of the lesson. The reverse charm proved much more difficult for Jodi and she tried four times before realizing that she was saying it wrong. She practiced the incantation without the wand movement a couple of times before redirecting her wand at the tiny door. "Colloportus," she said clearly and heard a 'squelching' sound that she assumed meant the spell had worked. Pushing slightly on the door, just to be sure, she continued to practice the locking and unlocking charms.

First Year Posts: 7 Group: Ravenclaw Member #234 Joined: Dec 1 2007	Santiago sat behind Jodi abit curious on what she was doing rasining a eyebrow as he watched her pratice a spell."hmm...the lock spell a very usefull if I may say so my self..."He said softly looking at her as he leaned back aganst his chair abit taking short glances around him.

She noticed a Ravenclaw sitting behind her that she hadn't yet spoken to and decided to introduce herself, "Hi there. I'm Jodi, what's your name?" It was getting easier all the time for her to talk to people, but she was still rather shy, so she didn't elaborate on her introduction.

He made his way over to board. he picked up a piece of chalk and started to change what was written by the teacher. "Aloha Monkey is the charm which can open a dimension of monkeys. it is handy but due to it's simplicity it is often not strong enough. The charm though is simple and effective. The incantation allows monkeys movement from the wild into the classroom. You can control them and make them dance in cirlces. The charm indicates success by making vast vortex that swirls around and around. AND THERE IS NO WAY TO GET RID OF THE MONKEYS"

Unregistered	Ben entered the classroom to notice yet again a different Professor. Whats up with these guisers, they all seem to be dissapearing Ben laughed in his head at his comment, wondering why he didn't say the statement out loud. "Hello Professor" He said before walking over to take a seat next to Jodi, he smiled and also greeted her. "Hey Again" He said with a blush. Ben took down some notes before pulling out his very used wand "Eh, Aloha Monkey?"

"Hey Professor," she spoke greeting Erin. Sofia took a seat nearer the back and took out a few pieces of parchment. She quickly read over the instructions and took notes. Now to start practicing, she thought, while reaching into her robes and pulling out her wand. With a swish and a flick, and the words 'Aloha Morah' Sofia managed to unlock the door in front of her. Easy enough, she thought as she began to try the next charm. This charm wasn't easy at first but Sofia continued to attempt it "Colloportus" she muttered softly but clearly, and suddenly there was a click. "Aha," she smiled, "Finally got it!"

She practised the spell she belived it was, "Aloha Morah." The door opened, Adelaide muttered, "Colloportus." It locked the door. Charms were simple. She noted Aloha Morah unlocks doors while Colloportus locks them. She turned to Sofia, "Shall I show you how to enchant it now?"

Sofia laughed when 'Aloha Monkey' was mentioned. "Yeah it is Aloha Morah" she smiled, while she watched Addy complete the charms. Once Addy had finished, Sofia nodded for her to show her the enchantment, "Sure can do"

Sofia took hold of her wand again and gave it a quick go. She muttered the same words as Addy did and swished her wand twice as well as giving it a quick flick. Sofia was amazed by it. "Wow, awesome" she laughed.

Sofia smiled, "Thanks for showing me the enchantment," She said as she gazed down at the beautiful pinkish colour glowing from her bracelet. "So did you find the charms easy today?" Sofia questioned.

Sofia decided to take some notes from a charms book she is currently reading. She began writing them down onto a spare piece of parchment.
