Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit. Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control? The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make? Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? Fifth Year & Hufflepuff Quidditch Co-Captain Posts: 423 Group: Hufflepuff Member #152 Joined: Jun 18 2007	Geneviéve hurried into class, instinctively grabbing a pair of the pink fluffy headphones as she caught the booming end of one of her classmates' sentences. She took in the words on the board, understanding at once the reason for the extremely loud voices. She put down her books, pointed her wand at herself, and said clearly, "Sonorus." She felt a slight tickle in her throat, but was not sure if it had worked. "Er... blah?" she said awkwardly, and was surprised that her voice sounded louder than normal, even through the headphones.

Third Year Posts: 757 Group: Gryffindor Member #15 Joined: Jan 3 2007	V entered the Charms classroom after John and took a seat beside him and Addie. Looking up to the front of the room, she saw the Transfiguration professor. "Wonder what's wrong with McDonald" She said to the two beside her. V read the bored then jumped up to get her headphones. She liked charms and it came easy to her. Taking a minute to pick the best spot on her throat, she held her wand to it and said "Sonorus". Feeling a bit stupid she said, " Hello? ". She knew immediately that it had worked as she could feel the difference in her throat, it sort of tingled.

"Well I would walk 500 hundred miles, and I would walk 500 more....." As he sang he began to dance about the room doing a rather silly jig.

Sixth Year Posts: 1,113 Group: Slytherin Member #135 Joined: May 8 2007	Julian opened the classroom door only to be accosted by tremendously loud voices booming about. He clasped his hands over his ears and made his way inside. He watched Tristan singing and dancing, glaring at him with deep loathing. This is why I hate you. He picked up a pair of earmuffs and looked disdainfully at them before reluctantly placing them on his head, if only to stop the sound of the others from deafening him.

(unsure of the correcy lyrics/spelling there as it's nonsensical words) Tristan slid his arms across V's shoulders and began to sway in time with their singing as he began another number, "She said it's cold outside as she hands me my raincoat. Unregistered	Ben was walking past the rooms on the floor on the way to next lesson, he was taking the long way round and heard someone singing from inside the charms room Hang on, Isn't it 2nd year charms right now, I'll have a quick look He walked over to the door and opened it slightly, he saw his friends singing muggle songs which he knew very well, grinned alot and continued to watch

He was actually quite impressed with some of their voices when he noticed the time. He shot a small firework into the center of the room to get their attention, "We won't hear the bell in here but it's about to go. So all of you cast the Quietus Charms on yourself and head to your next class. Good work today people." He glanced at his class schedule and saw he had the first years right now! He gathered his things and headed for the door, "Must be off. I have another class to get to. But again you all did very well." Nate dashed from the Charms Classroom.

Laughing, she drew her arms from around Tristain and pointed her wand to her throat saying, "Quietus". As she took off her earphones, V realised how lucky they had been that the professor didn't go mad at them. "He's kinda cool isn't he?" She asked the others as she got ready to leave. With a last smile, she walked towards the door and left, heading for the next class.

John who was more into sport then music grabbed a set of earphones. He saw a large firework explode in the middle of the room. John who was leaning back at the time, saw the sparks but heard no explosion. So frightened his chair slipped backwards, he managed to grab onto the table before he fell over. Taking off the headphones after pulling himself upright he packed away his books. "Quietus" John said, pointing his wand at his throat. "Whats next?" John asked to the others. John left the class room
