Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control?

The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make?

Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? It's up to each individual to decide their fate, where will you decide to go?

August steadied herself, "Ok, my turn to cast it on you. Riktusempra." She spoke the spell simply and gave her wand a graceful flick and watched the spell shoot towards Ella. She was curious to see the effects of her spell compared with those of Ella's on her.

Ella, who hadn't been paying attenton, was confused when she felt the spell hit her. She began laughing once more, this time harder than before.

August grinned at her success and lifted the charm immediately, not wanting to cause her any pain. "So, what now? We seemed to have mastered that one." She watched two other students, a Hufflepuff and Jodi from her own house cast the charm on each other. She leaned over to Ella, "Do you think any of the boys are cute in our year?"

Ella's eyes widened her face reddened. For once, she seemed at a loss for words.

"Oh, er...well, that is...I dunno....do you?" She asked, rather unconfortably. As odd as it sounded, she hadn't really thought about that untill then. After all, Eleonore liked to think of her self as quite different from the girls who stayed up all night gossiping about the opposite sex...

( heh, unlike me, who happens to be one of those mushy, romantic types XD)

OOC Hehe I'm a hopeless romantic too. I think most guys have forgotten the lost art of sweeping a girl off their feet.

BIC:
August grinned and blushed slightly, making sure no one could overhear them, "I think...Clifton is pretty cute." She giggled as she realized the cat was out of the bag now. "And I think he might fancy me as well. He had his arm around me on the train here."

August considered that fact and was momentarily impressed. They had just met and he had already tried to flirt with her. August loved guys with confidence!

"Er...I guess that would make sence that he, um..likes you " She said, unsure of what to say...after all, at home, she didn't converse much with girls her own age, let alone about hings like boys and the like. :P

August sensed that Ella wasn't very comfortable talking about boys and so changed the topic, "Can't believe you guys beat us in Quidditch. And that won shot you got past me, even I'll admit that was an amazing shot."

August had been down since they lost and it was her job as Keeper to defend their goals but realized her team didn't blame her. Besides, it definitely kept things interesting amongst their year group. August was competitive but could handle defeat.

(me-Aww, i was having fun watching her squirm!
Ella-* glare* )

Thankful for the change in subject, Ella smirked at this "Yeah, thanks...you were a pretty good keeper yourself " she answered, a small smile escaping her lips. She was proud of that game, even if they had been losing for most of it...

Taylor watched as the students performed the charm happily. "Wow, great job guys, excellent! And, since you all have done so well, you can go to lunch!" She said, smiling. As they began filing out of the room, she followed them to the Great Hall.

**I'm lazy :P ***

Ella left the classroom, eager for some lunch.
