Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Fifth Year. This year, Hogwarts has been chosen to host a legendary event, The Triwizard Tournament! However, these are dark times we live in, for the Dark Lord Azariah Amaranth has escaped the bonds which have kept him in Ministry custody, and has destroyed the Ministry in the plain sight of several muggles, effectively placing the Wizarding World under martial law and placing our very way of life in jeopardy. Strict curfews have been placed on all citizens, and now that school has started, no one--not students or staff--are allowed in or out of Hogwarts until further notice. So cancel any trips out you might have, because all students and staff must remain in, and everyone else must stay out. Now the Dark Lord is in preparation to topple the stability of both worlds and all races; to deal the final, shattering blow to the current world order. Why all this madness; this destruction and anarchy? Just what is Amaranth's ultimate goal? The first task has now ended. Christmas is here and we all know what that means: The Yule Ball will commence tonight. If your character is planning on attending and doesn't already have a date, be sure to snag one before all the good ones are gone! Today (Day 5) is Christmas day, so there is no class. Regarding the reservation of celebrities for future children, I personally believe it is far too early to begin allowing people to reserve celebrities for use when these characters are not set to surface for at least another year and a half (real time). Not to say that anyone in particular is unreliable, but very few people have been on the site consistently since they joined (I am known to have my absences as well), so I feel that it is appropriate that we wait to see the condition of the site towards the back end of the seventh year before allowing celebrity claims, because starting it now will make the new list just as long as the original one, which is in serious need of a good purging. Real life happens, and I expect it to happen, and the site's roster can and will change within such a long span of time. More information will be available when this process is brought back in. For now, any previous claims are void.

It's just that for now we aren't allowing anyone to reserve people for their characters' future children, as it's a bit ahead of the game for that.
