Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control?

The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make?

Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? It's up to each individual to decide their fate, where will you decide to go?

They would still be mainly R.Ping in their site just they could also send a champion and people to post here for the tri-wizard tournament or in hogsmeade and diagon alley, and perhaps they could expand their site so we could post there in France and Bulgaria. That'd be cool, like students can go overseas from holidays.

If she DOES become active for more than a half a day, then we can still use her father as the penetrator; but otherwise, we need another explanation for Charles Tortal and his evil deeds. I can write up a abusive childhood for him as an explanation of why he could be evil, if that's alright with everyone else.

So what's everyone think of a new Professor, for a new class, slowly converting studnets to the Dark Side (lol) and possible breaking the enchantments on the school? What classes would you like to see introduced? (something believable, apparently not spellc reation ) Would you prefer this site to take place during canon events or do our own thing? Any ideas and opinions are hugely apprecaited.

Fourth Year Posts: 711 Group: Ravenclaw Member #119 Joined: Mar 16 2007	Dueling class would be fun. The Professor could actually go into tactics, strategies and spells and such. It'd be good to possibly develop a set of rules and such for dueling like we're trying to do for Quidditch, at least in the class anyways. That way it's an actual challenge to win, not just a predetermined event. Perhaps a magic art class? On various occasions we've seen the possibilities of magic being used to create art. At the very least it's a way to get this new Professor in to the castle. Otherwise spell creation sounds ok, but I agree it needs to be kept age appropriate. Obviously second years aren't going to be creating anything that fantastic, but at very least being taught how to create spells using the basic latin words we've come to know. For example, the stuff that MA posted on spell creation and theory could be taught. A student can be taught about the parts of spells that are used like 'mobili' and 'corpus'. And personally I like to go with our own story lines just to keep it original but I'm happy to go with the majority consensus.

Magical Concepts Professor Posts: 315 Group: External Citizen Member #87 Joined: Feb 11 2007	I personally like the whole idea of a dueling class because I can do my own thing and I don't have to follow the guidelines that the name of the class speaks of. If needed, then we can change it to "Magical Use" class or something of that sort. I would be teaching what I wanted about magic completely, and I can corrupt them at the same time. As for what's going on cannon or uncannon, it would be better for us to create our own background behind everything to give the whole site a unique feel to it. That way, we can make things the way that we would like it to be and we don't have to follow the outline that J.K. left for us. As for Miss Demise and her disappearance, we need some new dark wizards to take the place that was left open. I say that we take Mr. Khan's parents or Mr. Delitrous' real parents to fill the gap. Or hell, we could just wait out on dark wizards until our characters graduate. There are plenty of people in our current year that are dying to be unleashed.

Let's do either his or Abaddon's parents. Since Abaddon is under your control lets make it his parents. But yeah leaving the class as broad is good, but it needs a name as such. 'Dueling Club' is alright and it would be justifiable to teach us anything and everything but whether or not that sounds quite right. Suggestions on names? On what we're talking about here? On my new haircut? (kidding.....my hair is already awesome lol)
