| Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit. Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control? The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make? Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? I think a chamber of secrets sort of thing would be good, It involves the whole school and would give members the choice on how deeply involved they would want to be. Like one person could try to investigate it but another might want to just stay safe and well back. Other storylines could be like POA with someone breaking into the school, but I think we already had that before I joined, or something along those lines |

Well, as we now have a seer here. (ME!!) Perhaps we can use that? It could be real fun if she made a prediction at the complete wrong time, spilling someones secrets... And those secrets make chaos at the school... Just an idea. |

For a seer, I believe it would be best sometime later in the years (around 5 or 6) that you predict some great disaster that will inflict the school. I have written a timeline for the site plot with the events that will occur whenever and what will happen. You can be there and make a prediction about what will indefinitely happen. |

I'm not sure if we've given up on the Dark Lord Rising thing, but i'll say this anyways. I think another uprising would be a good idea but I dont see why it necessarily has to be a 'Dark Lord' it could just as easily be a few rather powerful witches wizards whatever that join together to change the world. perhaps a more dumbledoreish/grindelwald sort of thing. Taking over for the greater good you know. And as for the school event. I wouldn't say a triwizards competeition I think it would be too hard to implement the two other schools. But perhaps an School wide competetion a sort of mini triwizard competition that is supposed to be a more safe sort of competition, but of course there is the possiblity that someone would come aroudn and make it not quite as safe as was intended. |

Hey Hellius, i really like your ideas, xD hmm, you know about you want the school invovled with aplot, well something to happen. Just reclently, (on another rp site) i make a big thread up, and i'm kinda proud of it, yet no one else can be shuffed makeing long posts. this is wat the plot is: well all the kids in the school are put onto alert in the school because there is an intruder in the school, he is very dangourus and his speictaly of attack is the Imperius Curse, so everyone gets scared, and has to stay in packs, yet none of the students know who to trust, etc. Im not going into detail, but i can show you my introduction to the thread if you want me to, and we can all, as members of this website, help build these ideas. |

Anyway for the first, a ministry selection. Choose by... --------------------------------------------------- Grogan Knickerby - Pureblood and proud of it. Strict but fair. Favoures his own kin. Former Slytherin. Therese Joynland - Muggleborn, nice and gentle. Former Hufflepuff. Johan Kristonio Myono - Half-blood. From the Italian MoM. Egoistic but with many good ideas. (Unknown ideas.) -------------------------------------------------- That might make something cool. And the storyline becomes adapted to it. -------------------------------------------------- Grogan Knickerby - Guardian Dragons, lots of new rules. Slytherin get favoured. Therese Joynland - Just the same. A little more rules, but no huge changes. Johan Kristonio Myono - Unknown Consequenses for Hogwarts. ----------------------------------------------------- If like that we will get a storyline. If Grogan becomes Minister, Tristan and co will rebel. If Therese, Julian and co will. If Johan... who knows. (PS:I'm hoping for Grogan, Guard Dragons...  )We can add more people after a while. Just a thought. Anyone get the hints? |

I choose that one for the sake of the plotline that I just recently posted. We need someone generally neutral who won't favor one over the other. "Consequences" would probably include... erm, Aurors being placed at the school and then students required to do several unnecessary precautions. Students are searched and if they act in a way the Aurors don't like, the students get medieval torture as detention. Something along those lines, but when the last epic battle occurs, the defensive group (nicknamed Saviors for now) will fight with the Aurors against the evil force.
Ooh, I believe this can fit in with what Annie contributed. When the Aurors that the Minister sends to protect Hogwarts arrive, Charles Tortal can Imperio several of them to fight on his side. Something like that. |

That's good, but I had that scheduled with Charles Tortal already. In the plotline, it spoke that Jack Lestera's son was unable to be found. In his character sheet, his mother's name was Georgia Lestera. With that said, Jack + Georgia = Charles. Thanks for the input, but maybe we can find something else for mister Minister.
