Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control?

The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make?

Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? It's up to each individual to decide their fate, where will you decide to go?

Honestly, Lola (and all the other opposing players who happen to menstruate--that means you, John) you know the guy I grew up with? Yeah, Mr. Ministry Hothead himself. I've been dodging hexes and curses since I could walk. I'm one of the fastest players out ther. You couldn't hit/catch me even in your dreams--which I know are filled with visions of you doing anything but hitting me (note that the last comment was directed towards Lola, though I wouldn't put it past any of you other girls...or John.)

And Gryffindor is a joke! Dear Addison is too filled up with emotional drama BS to properly lead a team! Gabe, in the past three years, I've not seen much from you of note other than whining about injustice to some lizards or something. I EAT SENTIMENTAL FOOLS LIKE GRYFFINDOR's MEMBERS FOR BREAKFAST! Hellius is the only one of you with any backbone...and I'm afraid one spinal cord between the seven of you won't do against Slytherin.

Typical Gryffindor, thinking he can match my skills on a broom. Watch me dance all over the field.

I thought you were the Keeper? What are doing all over the field you moron!? I rest my case about Ravenclaw's complete irrelevance.

Oh, and you know its on.

Oh darling, I'm pretty damn fast and hell, you should damn well KNOW I'm not afraid to hurt you. Honestly.

Oh, and you might be right about the dream bit, but we both know that it goes for you, as well. So stop talking like you're this amazing player, I'll laugh if, ahem, WHEN we beat you. Don't worry though, I'll comfort you later that evening, when we meet up secretly.

You'll be needing it.

Ian did your sister turn you down again? I heard you Slytherins like to keep it in the family...that's why their team is so close-knit...because they're all actually related.

I also heard it gives them an unfair advantage with catching the Quaffle and Snitch, 6 fingers and all that jazz. So expect them to be tough opposition!

*shakes his head*

Ian, Ian Ian...when will you ever learn that it is not about what people do in the past but rather the potential of future actions? Now, you seemed like a nice guy up until a few minutes ago so let me give you a simple reminder and that is that as a Beater it is my duty to harm the other team's members...are we clear? Oh, and I'd like to note that my housemate and friend Hellius has more talent in his backbone than your entire team, Ian.

That being said, I reject all of the other smack that has been talked, especially by that Xander fellow and will go proudly on my way. Oh, and I think Miss Carmicheal has the right idea Johnson, because from here in your back needs watching.

Oh dear, when did I give the impression of being a nice guy? Certainly I didn't mean to do that!

And honestly Ben, I get it, our families have a history of inbreeding, but I can verify that such a thing hasn't happened for quite a few generations of my family, that, and what does me sleeping with or not sleeping with my sister (which I don't even have) have to do with quidditch!? Oh, you admit that we're going to beat you then, eh? Maybe our familial bonds do help, but at least we can agree that you don't stand a chance.

You Hufflepuffs fail at both smack talk, and quidditch.

And it is still on.

It's kinda pathetic for the rest of you to be throttled by a team full of girls. And Ben.

If you're so "good" at quidditch. *rolls eyes*

Here's what'll happen:

The Snobby Slytherin's will have their hoity-toity noses to high in the air to see what's happening on the pitch.

The Revolting Ravenclaws will be too busy with their beaky noses in their books to pay attention to the game at hand.

The Gag-Reflex Gryffindors will have their abnormally large noses in everyone's buisness to be playing a game *worth* our valuble time.

So,

as I see it,

The Quidditch Cup belongs to the Hufflepuff House. This year, and EVERY year hence.

We, The Hufflepuff Hotties, and Ben, shall wipe the pitch with the whole lot of you.

It is *SO* on.

Well, last time I checked, being smart was an advantage? Maybe it's just me, but the last time I checked, being SMART was a positive? A positive that, of course, is going to help the Remarkable Ravenclaws win - because, yes, we will win. We'll have you Handicapped Hufflepuffs in the palms of our hands.

Hmm, when we get out onto the Quidditch pitch, make sure to bring clothes you don't really care too much about,
Because we'll be wiping the floor with you.

^_^

Better than having you head hung low in defeat, as Hufflepuff surely will.

'Tis on.

Hung low like Slytherin are in the House Cup perhaps? I do hope the same thing happens in Quidditch, don't you Kiki?

The house cup is superfluous. Just a way to keep attendance and discourage rule-breaking. Only incompetent patsies care who has the most points. Slytherin's lack of house-points serves only to show that it has more important things to worry about. We dominate where it really matters, in such areas that require true talent and skill--such as quidditch. If meeting our goals requires a bit of rule-breaking at the cost of house-points, than we won't lose sleep over it.

But by all means, go on and harp on your little lead in points, none of us care. 'Tis a pointless, and hallow victory at best.

Again I say, it is on.

(OOC: It is me, Ian, sorry for the identity switch, but I'm busy...)
