Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit. Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control? The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make? Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? Second Year Posts: 177 Group: Gryffindor Member #184 Joined: Aug 27 2007	Jodi struggled to maintain concentration for a few more moments before allowing her feather to sink back onto the desk. She listened to what Ben said, then racked her brain: she faintly remembered talking about incendio and lumos with her parents before leaving for school. "Oh, I've heard of those," she said. "Wingardium Leviosa," she muttered again, this time easily sending her feather back into the air. "Hmmm... lumos... I've done a bit of that, I think... that's when your wand lights up at the end, right? I don't quite remember what incendio is, though... it has to do with light, or fire, or something, doesn't it?"

Sixth Year Posts: 858 Group: Slytherin Member #171 Joined: Jul 27 2007 Age 15 Location Pennsylvania, USA	Ella sat back down, smirking to herself. Not only had she performed the spell correctly, but Slytherin was now in the lead, or nearly so. She took a feather, turned to the correct page and began reading, absent-mindeldly practicing the wand movement as she did so. After a minute or two, she swished, flicked, and spole the incantation aloud. After rising a few feet, her feather fell back on the desk, but she managed it on her second try. She smiled slightly, enjoying making the feather go up and down.

He held it but he didn't find charms particularly thrilling as some of the others. "Wingardium Leviosa" Clif said swishing and flicking his wand at the feather and it didn't move an inch. Clif pulled the his books and rested his head on them. OOC: This is Ron Weasley-esque in the movie with Hermione. Lol, then they fall in love. AWwwwwww.

She noticed a feather over her head and she knew where it came from , she turned around and smiled at the boy and started laughing She later continued with her work and she said Wingardium Leviosa The feather did nothing. Stupid feather dont give me a hard time!!!! though she knew that the problem was hers...........

Unregistered	"Yeah, Incendio is the fire making spell" He brought the feather back to him after the girl had smiled and laughed about it, He looked around to see if the Professer was looking, "Incendio" And the feather caught fire, "Atlast, Reparo" He said after it had finished burning, and it went back to its normal self, "Ohhh Im doing good" He said to Jodi

She tried Wingardium Leviosa the feather finally floated in the air , she put it over the hufflepuff boy and stuck her tongue out . Well in a nice way and waited for a reply

First Year Posts: 61 Group: Ravenclaw Member #183 Joined: Aug 19 2007	Maffer grabbed a black feather with grey flecks in it, it reminded him of his stygian owl, Ismail. He set the feather on his desk, spinning it once with his wand and then practiced saying "Wingarrdium Leviosa, wingarrrrdium, garrr, hah" He focused on wanting the feather in the air, floating, like he was just minutes before. This should be easier, having experienced the exact effects of the spell before. He swished and flicked his wand like he saw the professor do and got ready to cast the charm. "Wingarrdium Leviosa!" with a swish and flick, the feather jumped and floated 4ish feet above the desk, he kept the wand pointed at the feather, making it float lazily across the next few desks and back, he put his book and parchments in his pack with his free hand. He was done with feather-sailing, so he set it down using his wand and sat idling.

She let out a gasp of surprise when it burst into flame, smiling when she realized that he was demonstrating the spell she had asked about earlier. The shock of seeing a feather suddenly burst into flame had caused her to break concentration, so she had dropped her own feather. She pretended to scowl at Ben and jokingly said, "Oh, sure. Make me mess up, why don't you?" Then she laughed from pure enjoyment of the class and her friend. "You've got that right!" she said when Ben commented on how well he was doing. "Wingradium Leviosa," her feather floated smoothly back into the air. "So did you get to practice much at home, or have you gotten that good just since arriving?" Jodi was quite impressed by the skill that her friend was showing.

"Well done Jodi and Maffer take 5 points each for your houses" Mac said excitedly seeing the two floating theeir feathers in the air. "No homework from me, the bell is about to ring so whenever you are ready." Mac said to the students Mac thought to himself much better lesson then the last one.

Second Year Posts: 26 Group: Slytherin Member #197 Joined: Sep 7 2007	((sorry, so llaaaaate)) Christine was petrified and soon felt that the spell had worn off. She stood up, dusted herself, and rubbed her back from the impact of the spell. Thanks professor, I'm Christine Avallone by the way... She saw some of the students perform some spells and she had learned some of it by seing it visually. She heard thew professor and heard the directions. She opened her textbook and practiced her swish ans flick movements and understood it with ease. Christine then tried it on the feather. She waved her wand. Wingardium Leviosa. The feather rose slightly in the air, but only one end was tipping up. She wrinkled her nose. Uhh, i think my feather is cripple. She frowned and tried again. Wingardium Leviosa! She saw the feather fully fly in the air and it came closer and closer to her face. Without expecting it, it hit her square on her nose and she put it down on her desk. She then waited for the bell to ring.

She hadn't noticed him watching, and grinned when he awarded her house five points. Hearing another name, she looked around to see the boy called Maffer levitating his feather as well. She smiled a congratulations to him, and gently directed her own feather back to the desk. Realizing that class would soon be over, she packed up her things. She was extremely pleased with her first Charms class, so smiled as she said a simple, "Thank-you, professor," and left the charms classroom for History of Magic. She assumed that Ben and the others would be coming along soon.
