Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control?

The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make?

Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? It's up to each individual to decide their fate, where will you decide to go?

She hadn't exactly talked to Tristan before, but that didn't mean she wouldn't stand up for him. He had nearly been hurt, and she couldn't stand it when people were sick enough to cause others pain. A shiver ran down her spine as she glanced to Mascacra, remembering all the threats she had recieved last year. It was no use for her to play innocent. Addie took a deep breath, trying to summon enough courage to speak up. I-I have to help! W-what does it matter? I'm already on her bad side anyways! I should help them! "Stop it!" She said firmly, suprising even herself with her tone. "Mascacra leave him alone, we know you started it. You can't play innocent after everything you did last year." She stated, hands shaking slightly. Addie shoved her hands in her pockets and moved over to stand with Tristan and Riley.

"It may or may not have been you, I don't know for sure, but the fact that your sitting with that evil wanker doesn't say much about you! I know one of you did it because no one else in this room is that sick and twisted!" He was getting on a roll now, unable to stop the words from tumbling from his mouth, "I am sick and tired of having to constantly look over my shoulder to make sure Julian or one of his wacko friends is going to hex me. Attack me or one of my friends again and I'll make it my personal mission to have you thrown out of Hogwarts!" He kicked his smoldering robes in frustration before resuming his seat. He sat staring in rage at the desk but soon turned once more to the Slytherin pair, "I HATE YOU!!! he bellowed. He couldn't take it anymore; he grabbed his things and stormed from the classroom.

She should keep her nose out of people's business....especially mine. She sighed to herself softly. She twirled a lock of her hair wither her index finger. "What if I'm...different now? I might have changed a new leaf?" She looked directly into her eyes. "I mean, I'm sorry about last year...pity that I didn't notice my behavior before..." She heard the Ravenclaw's speech of so called "justice" and she shook her head. "Poor disturbed little boy...doesn't know what he's saying..must be delusional...I have never met him before....why is he so quick to judge???" She sighed and grabbed her things and made one last look at them. "Now, if you excuse me, I must go....." She exited the classroom.

She felt awful for what he must've been going through. Silently she debated whether to go after him or not. She hesitated before meeting Mascacra's gaze, determined to look as brave as any Gryffindor should. She frowned slightly, she wasn't guilible, that wasn't it... But she did believe in second chances. "I guess I wouldn't know... If you really have changed then I suppose I forgive you..." She trailed off, "but if you're lying..." She shook her head, glancing to the professor who seemed to have been oblivious through out the whole scenario. "I'm going after him, I'll be right back." She decided, exiting the classroom.

Your pathetic, sniveling and whinging all the time!" He smirked as Tristan stormed from the room and watched in curiosity as Mascacra followed after him. Interesting....is she going after him? He decided to stay put though. So far he had not been properly implicated in the incident, nor could he be since Mascacra was the one who did it. He would not give Professor Mac the satisfaction of busting him.

She wanted to calm him down, tell him not to worry about it, but she couldn't bring herself to interrupt. Then she watched in silence as he stormed out of the room. She made to go after him but figured maybe it'd be best for hi to be alone and calm down. He mightn't want company in his present state of mind. She sat down sadly, depressed for her friend.

Tristan, usually a passive intelligent boy was yelling at the top of his lungs at a familiar Slytherin girl. He then saw Tristan storm off, followed by Addie, when they had left he recognised the girl and groaned, Mascacra Demise had prooved a handful to deal with last year it seemed as though the end of year holidays had not done her much good. She too in a matter of seconds had taken off out of the class room. Knowing the bell was going to go at any moment he issued the following orders. Taking a deep breathe he said "Jake, Julian take Mascacra's books and go with her to the next lesson. John take Addie and Riley if you could take Tristan's books. and try find them tell them Charms is over and that there is no need to return to class but to continue onto their next one. Class Dismissed, see you all next time and do not forget the homework" Mac said.

Ravenclaw Ghost Posts: 289 Group: Denizen of Hogwarts Member #198 Joined: Sep 7 2007	Abaddon was enjoying the scene quite thoroughly. He really didn't feel like chasing after anyone and he really didn't feel any sympathy for anyone. He was purely entertained by the fire and then the whole duel that almost broke out in front of him. Hearing the screams and then listening as Tristan and Mascacra both fled from the class room, Abaddon began to pack up for from this sign, he could tell that class was about to be dismissed. Soon hearing the teacher dismiss the class, he stood, pushed in his chair, and *left the classroom.*

Sixth Year Posts: 1,113 Group: Slytherin Member #135 Joined: May 8 2007	Julian was surprised at not being punished by the Professor but wasn't complaining. If he had been he would have very likely attacked the Prfoessor in a fit of rage. He rose from his seat, placed his book back into his bag, considered gathering Mascacra's things but decided not to. She can get them herself. I'm not a house elf! and left for DADA.
