Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit. Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control? The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make? Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? Deleted User	The first year examinations will now commence. Would all students sitting the exams please post an entry into the exam room. Please PM your answers to the appropriate Professor who will mark them and give you your results. Following this the End of Term feast will commence , after which you will narrated by Admin onto the Hogwarts Express and leave the castle. Once this occurs the new "year" will start, beginning before term in Diagon Alley and/or Hogsmeade. Good Luck.

He looked around for his friends but had only found one single solitary figure standing nervously, obviously, waiting for the exams. "You" John said pointing at Julian. "What are you doing here?" John said starring at the Slytherin shooting his hand into his pocket and tightening his grip around his wand.

I saw you there" John said, spilling the secret. "Besides, where are your henchmen, didn't think you went anywhere out there or was it them who attacked you?" John said knowing he shouldn't sink to Julian's level but he couldn't resist as his anger got the better of him sometimes.

And if you think I'm joking, maybe your little girlfriends Riley and Natalie might have a little accident over the holidays. Be an awful shame if they couldn't return to school next year, wouldn't it Jake?" The look on Julian's face showed how serious he was. But the confident exterior only went as far as that. On the inside Julian was fuming; how did they find out!?

"Oh really, I didn't know they were clumsy, are they going to trip or what?" John said before mockingly turning to Tristan "Tris, we should probably warn the girls about this. It's pretty serious if Julian says they are going to have an accident" John said chuckling before turning back to Julian. "I'm not intimidated by you. Don't you get that. What's wrong with mentioning your little trip to the hospital wing" John said pushing Julian's buttons while his hand gripped more firmly on his wand.

I was involved in a fight with an intruder, an intruder I tortured until Professor Aphelion stopped me. The pain the man was in was obviously beyond anything he had experienced and I'd love any reason to do you as well." He knew he had bent the truth somewhat but no one else knew what really had transpired.

There is nothing he would do, why would he chase up people that mean nothing to them. If he comes after anyone it'll be me and I doubt he'll be able to do anything then anyway" John said turning to Julian. It seemed hard to take what Julian said seriously sometimes "Is that why you ended up unconscious and scarred in the hospital wing, from torturing someone else" John said chuckling. He slid the handle of his wand out of his pocket in case Julian tried anything.

He's not about to politely ask me to stop, is he?" Julian eyed off the pair and considered drawing his wand but decided against it. Both Tristan and John were somewhat skilled and Jake had not yet proven himself a useful ally in a fight. He would not risk it. He gave a superior sneer at them and turned his back. "Pathetic little parasites, sucking on the bottom of wizardkind," shaking his head with anger, his teeth gritted. He decided he would dwell no further on them. "I suspect these exams will be easy. I bet I pass with flying colors," he boasted.

There were plenty of means to detain a person without harming them. The full body bind for starters.

She was nervous yet confident that she had studied enough to pass comfortably. She had read a decent amount of the book she had borrowed from the Professor and was finding it fascinating. She had also successfully performed the Switching Spell he had shown her multiple times. "Morning you two. Ready for this?"

He stared at her for a moment, appraising her and concluded that she was far too masculine to ever be considered even remotely good looking. She lacked any sort of delicate, feminine grace or poise that any decent girl should. His lip curled in disgust as he watched her.
