Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit. Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control? The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make? Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? She started laughing, and she couldn't stop. She faintly noticed that John had fallen over, but soon forgot as she was now doubleing over with laughter... Unregistered	August smiled slightly as she watched Elle shriek with uncontrollable laughter as a result of John's spell. To add to the atmosphere, John had fallen over stiff as a board as a result of hers. She imagined that Elle might be laughing even if it weren't for the Tickling Charm. She returned her gaze to John and waited for him to fire.

He smiled to August, and seeing that Ella was still feeling the effects of his tickling jinx he let it go on for a bit before he put her out of her misery. "Finite" John said, now wanting to gain some respect back he pointed his wand at August, "Ricktusempra" John said, the spell shot from his wand like a cannon.

"Very good Miss Delphine, 5 points for that Body bind, and take 5 points Mr. Holland for the tickling jinx on Miss Collins, Come on everyone really concentrate when doing those spells. Make sure you have the right wand movements and incantation, get all these rights and the full extent of you power will flow easily from you" Mac said standing at the front of the class and seeing all the faces with little beads of sweet from the concentration.

John went to grab a set of toothbrushes for himself and the two other girls.

"Alright, I know how much you are enjoying this class but as time is almost up you are to practise the spells you have not done and then you are free to go and leave early. Only after I have seen though and dismissed you and allowed you to go, Lunch should be starting soon" Mac said.

Your non-wand hand should be held at a 45 degree angle from your body for the ultimate balance and to keep it from interfering with your spellwork. She aimed her wand at Tristan and spoke, "Riktusempra," a jet of red shooting from her wand.

Why do they teach these spells to teenagers? They must know that we're going to use them on each other? He held his stomach together as he fell to his knees, hoping to limit the laughter by crouching into a ball.

She packed away her books and notes, making a mental note to practice the Charms before the exams to be totally familiar with how they worked. She motioned towards the door at Tristan, "Coming?" She scanned the room one last time at the other students practising hard still before walking towards the door, "See you at lunch, John." Riley has left Charms.

She decided that it wouldn't hurt to practice before the teacher watched her. Taking a toothbrush from john, she placed it on an empty desk and pointed her wand at it. ''Engorgio" she said, watching the it grow in her mind's eye. At first she thought it worked, as it started to grow, but it soon shrunk back down to it's original size with a small "pop!". Ella thought for a moment, about exactly what she did when she charmed John. Recalling that she was rather annoyed at him then, for sugesting that she was nervous, she tried to pretend that the toothbrush in front of her had offended her. Screwing up her face, she pointed her wand and repeted the incantation. "Engorgio!" the toothbrush started growing like before, but this time it didn't shrink down agin. Beaming, she began to practice the counter charm, confident that she would be able to do it by the time the professor came to her.
