Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit. Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control? The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make? Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? As soon as you cast your curse onto Danka, the Professor will just disarm you. He frowned at the thought as he wanted to inflict copious amounts of pain and humiliation on the man. How to do it....Remove the Professor from the equation he realized. With a sudden move he shot a body bind at the Professor, hoping to get him out of the way.

Deputy Headmaster & Transfiguration Professor Posts: 768 Group: Ravenclaw Head of House Member #122 Joined: Mar 20 2007	Nate cast a Shield Charm but only managed to deflect some of the curse. He was struck with a lesser version of the charm and found himself not entirely bound by it, but still quite unable to move. He could still speak and move ever so slightly, but it would take him several minutes to free himself from its grasp and disarm Julian. He struggled with all his might agains the charm of the magically enhanced Slytherin.

"This situation looks familiar, doesn't it? But now the roles are reversed. You attacked me and made me look weak in front of the others. I'm a pure blood wizard as pure as they come, I am not weak. Yet you made me appear so. I am now going to make you experience what I did. But at the end I will not leave you alive. Crucio!" he bellowed, several birds taking flight in response to the sudden scream.

Yet, like the boy performing the curse, he too could not move or cry out which made the pain infinitely worse. The look in the boy's eye was one of sadistic pleasure and reminded him of himself at that age. Yet he found the image difficult to hold on to as the Cruciatus Curse continued to make him wish for death.

To exact revenge was something wonderful, to make him pay for what he did..... He gritted his teeth and focused on causing even more pain than he was, hopefully enough to actually kill the man. He didn't know whether it was possible or not but he hoped it was.

He longed, yearned to break free of the charm and stop the act from continuing but he was still struggling against the effects of the body bind. Stop it, Julian. Stop it! he screamed in his head. Don't you know your hurting yourself as much as you are hurting him? It was as Julian's charm had heard his thoughts for suddenly the charm broke and he found he could move. Quick as a flash, he shot a disarming charm at the boy, knowing that since his back was turned he would not be able to defend against it.

He knew the man was experiencing a curse far greater than the one had had cast on Julian. However, without warning, his wand flew from his hand and landed some feet away. He turned and saw the Professor striding towards him, a look of great sadness on his visage. The rage continued in him as he ran at the Professor, very much aware of not holding a wand, but he didn't care. He began to bash his fists into the Professor, "Why!" he screamed, "Why won't you let me kill him!?!" his throat almost tearing from the anguish he felt.

He spoke in a calming voice, hoping to reach the boy, "Julian, listen to me. Hurting or killing this man will do nothing. You only hurt yourself by killing another. Your soul tears into two, leaving you tarnished, impure, unnatural. Killing is never the answer. Let him be punished in other ways, not by you."

To kill this man would show my power. It is my right to kill him! Still, he could do nothing without a wand and had to submit to the will of the Professor. He gave the answer he knew Aphelion wanted to hear in hope that he would get his opportunity to kill Danka later. "I'm sorry, Professor. So sorry!" He began to cry pretend tears to reinforce the image if repentance, though inside he was wishing hate on the Professor for stopping his revenge.

He hurt you and embarased you and so you wanted to prove you weren't weak. It will not be the first time you desire revenge on a person. But know that revenge will not get you what you seek." He summoned Julian's wand from the darkness but pocked it, "I'll give this back to you when Mr Tirisfal is safely secured. Come." He summoned ropes and secured Danka Tirisfal before levitating the man out of the clearing, heading back towards the castle.
