Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control?

The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make?

Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? It's up to each individual to decide their fate, where will you decide to go?

At least in the corridors and a few other common areas. I went to RP with another character of mine because I dont to just barge into potions and start coz thatd be lame so figure ok ill wander the main hall and corridors etc. But I cant. That really limits people's ability to post as its gotta be in class if class is on or have to get approved topics opened by yourself out of class time. I think if you could do any one thing to help the site, it would be letting people open topics in at least the corridors and other areas like that, the grounds etc. So they can choose to RP when they want.

Sorry guys that I've been inactive, so many thigns have been going on, that it's hard to believe. i PROMSE THAT i'LL BE UP AND ACTIVE IN 5 DAYS BECAUSE MY FAMILY'S GOING TO TEXAS! But its something that nothing can really be done about except try and recruit more people from your timezone. Hehe I'd love a few more AUssies but Im lucky in that I'm online a variety of times through the day so I still encounter different people. I really like the idea of mini plotlines. I'll think of an example............ OK how about this: There's a new student/teacher/charcater of some sort shows up and everyone is really taken with them but they in fact have a hidden agenda that must be found out. They are in fact here to commit some wrong deed and people have to not only start to suspect the person but then catch them out and remove them in soe fashion. Very TV show I know but it lends itself to alot of RP where not everyone has to be online at the same time and makes it a little interesting as one of the regulars can play the 'new person', and they can deliberately go into empty rooms, do evil stuff, then bail and try and not be caught. Yet obviously we cna read what that person is doing but have to try and make it so our characters encounter that behaviour and try to catch them out and then we have to remove them somehow. Just an idea, I thought of this in like 20 seconds. Monsieur Nightshade.....I think that we have a little something of this already...or I have something ready.

Though I enjoy ur interesting plotlines I would hardly call them plotlines for all to take part in.

We will murder them all... one by one... when they least expect it... Blood will spi--- Right, I'm done. So, first of all, I have been gone for several reasons, but I don't want to be a friggen arse and be... rude. 1: The site is slow moving and I am bored of the idea of being stuck in one area... for... weeks. Basically, I have moved on to another site and have actually made one a few days ago that has yet to get almost *any* good rpers. That site, however, I am going to be patient with as I was with this one for a few months. Now, to make it more active and moving more... fast, you should make it so you have some actual teachers that can actually be on and be responsible for the positions that they have been given. Hell, we were stuck in potions for... what? 3 weeks? Find ACTIVE people for MAJOR roles and maybe this site can get somewhere in less than a month. 2: It gets annoying that members cannot make their own threads. We either have to wait for MA to get on, or one of the global mods to make threads. This gets EXTREMELY annoying. Make it so ANY member can make threads if you haven't already, and everything will go HELL of a lot quicker. 3: Freedom. I basically want more freedom. It seemed as if anytime I tried to do something to actually entertain me (which happened to be troublesome, I know) it ended up 5 posts after the fact, that a teacher caught me. No ability to make minor plots when there isn't a big one, ends with seldom and boredom. ________ I have made my contribution... and I will continue to check in every now and again. Second Year Posts: 186 Group: Gryffindor Member #17 Joined: Jan 4 2007	The teachers I completly agree. They chose to be the teacher, and do not even show up for weeks. I think we should have two teachers for the subjects where people don't have time (potions) My teacher Owen, is an exception, cause how long was my class? 1-2 days? Plus I have a schedual planned out for the next 3 classes. And people should like. Now for the threads, yes. As long as spam doesn't happen, it should be alright. Or make a limit to like a certian number of threads a day a person can make. That way we don't finish this thing in a week, but stretches out.
