Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control?

The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make?

Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? It's up to each individual to decide their fate, where will you decide to go?

Ophelia looked around her in the corner seeing everyone had there own person to talk to, she sighed and continued looking at everyone. Her wand was in her robes but she didnt bother taking it out. OOC: wow threads go by fast. o.o;;

And snakes aren't that bad, the only snakes that can kill you instantly are the black mamba who lives in africa and australia and very little parts of the world and a snake that is almost extinct living on an island off the cost of.... uhuh you guessed it, africa.

" I for one don't intend to leave my friend passed out on the ground." "You!" she pointed at Addie who was hunched over Vanessa's body. "Run to the hospital wing" (ooc: if you're not here Addie, someone else go.) "someone go get the professor." Then, she rounded on the new Hufflepuff boy, Drake. "It's easy to see why your in Hufflepuff- your head is obviously not your strongest bit. What on earth possessed you to conjure up a snake in a classroom!" She shoved the boy aside and hurried over to V. She stripped off her school jumper and put it under V's head as a cushion.

How highly unusal... she really does take friends quite seriously she thought as she quietly got up from her seat... she was leaving, besides everyone in this class wouldnt notice since she was basically, or thought she was, hated. Ophelia decided to headf back towards the common room, she didnt care if her house got negative points as long as she isnt getting kicked out here. Ophelia passed the teacher with annoyance and left the classroom. OOC: ><

Second Year Posts: 238 Group: Gryffindor Member #49 Joined: Jan 31 2007	Eliana had sat watching from the back of the class. Everything was so new to her. They all seem to know so many spells already. I don't know any. She glanced mournfully down at her wand, gripped tightly in her hand. Everyone here was probably much better off then she was. They probably knew all kinds of things. What she was most intrigued about was this sport, Quidditch. She was naturally athletic, and she was eager to have flying lessons. She tossed head back, whipping the auburn hair out of her eyes. Stop moping. You'll be fine. she told herself, reassuringly. She made a silent vow to start reading through her spellbook that night. Shutting out her thoughts, she turned her attention back to the class.

"I don't care if your to selfish to care but it doesn't mean you should just leave her here without doing anything" John screamed in the direction of the Slytherin's. This did nothing for his anger, now he was upset, he didn't mean to get angry with Nat and Wendy but they just happened to be with Dave at the time. John bought over a seat and propped V up on it. "That should do it until the professor comes back" John said to himself breathing heavily. Ooc: Drake, firstly your not in Slytherin therefore you shouldn't really have an inkling towards snakes. Hufflepuff is on loyalty not cunning. Secondly the spell was used by Draco Malfoy in his second year and he was in Slytherin. It may not be that far advanced but you have come into the school for less then a week and from your profile you don't have a large history in family magic. You ought to be careful about which spells you choose.

"Whatever man, how about you calm the hell down? There's not much you can do for someone who has fainted other than make sure they can breathe and that they are comfortable. Just sit back and relax," Dave told John, hoping he would cool off. He tried not to sound hostile, but it came out the wrong way. "Anyways, you're the one that probably told the professor the whole story when he took you to his office, so don't blame me for talking." He deserved it... definately.

"Tell me to calm down again and I will blow your freaking head off and I don't care whether I get expelled for it or not cause it would be worth it just stay the hell out of my way. You've done enough damage as it is. I had to tell him what happened because you made it sound as if I was the only one involved in this? Do you not understand, did you not see what happened and why I hit him? I didn't conjure that snake he did. Why the hell would I hit someone for no reason?" said John loud enough that his last words where bouncing off the walls again and again. Ooc: Don't worry Dave John just needs someone who he doesn't get on with seeing that Drake isn't here I had to pick you. I mean it just adds Drama to the scene. He shot a look of triumph at those around him before going back to tending to Venessa. He moved her off the chair that John had propped her up on and laid her back on the floor, making sure her head was back enough to keep her airway clear. He had a minor background in basic first aid, and he knew that sitting someone upwards when unconscious could cause their airway to be blocked.

I liked it here apart from some of the people it's been good" John said walking back over to Wendy and Nat and stood with them. He really wanted to say sorry for snapping at them before but he refused to do it in front of Dave just in case he thought John would also be appologising to him and John certainly wouldn't be saying sorry to Dave for what happened any time soon for as far as he could tell Dave deserved being yelled at and John wished that he could have hit Dave with a few good spells just to teach him a lesson. Ooc: Looks like Dave and John have a bit of a Draco/ Harry rivalry going here. Lol.

"You better watch who you say things like that too. You may just start loosing friends," She told him, crossing her arms across her chest. It was true that she was too selfish to really care. But evil doesn't see evil, does it?
