Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control?

The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make?

Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? It's up to each individual to decide their fate, where will you decide to go?

As she pointed her wand at Professor McDonald, she wondered how long it would take people to realize she really only knew one spell. She muttered "Adagio" and a pink light shot out of her wand and it the professers legs. Although his upper body remained unchanged, his legs began to whip out complicated steps that looked like something out of Riverdance. "I hope thats alright professor" she said sweetly, "but you gave me the impression that we were encouraged to practice spells on one another." Then, remembering Bimdell's lecture on safety, she added, "only in safe envionments of course."

"I have never seen a first year with the ability to do something like that before. Very impressive, you could go far in charms you just have to work at it" the professor said not taking his eyes away from the girls just yet. The professor then flicked his wand and performed a simple cheering charm on the girl. "This charm is one you will learn for you O.W.Ls or Ordinary Wizarding Levels" the professor explained seeing the confusing arising in some of the students among the class. "Anyone else willing to volunteer?"

First Year Posts: 171 Group: Slytherin Member #20 Joined: Jan 4 2007	WENDY ENTERED THE CLASSROOM. Her eyes instantly fell upon the half-dancing professor and the look of pure glee on Nat's face. She remembered the night before when the professor had taken them to the Great Hall. She also remembered Nat's comments on the professor. She slyl slipped into a seat next to Nat and John. "I didn't miss anything, did I?" She smirked, not really directing her question to anyone in particular.
	It is a sin to believe evil of others, but it is seldom a mistake.

"Do you know any charms?" the professor said pointing at the girl who had just entered his class room. "If you can we would love to see them, since the class hasn't started we have been showing which spells we can perform" the professor said waving his hands at the students.

Like she knew a million different spells and was just trying to find the right one to use. But she knew that John would know the one spell she knew when he saw it for she had done it on the train for him. She took out her wand, 13 inches, Veela hair and held it confidently in one hand. "Appareo formositas," She spoke, her voice very confident. A small white flower appeared at the end of her wand and she took it in her other hand, holding it out for Professor McDonald to take. "Is that good, Professor?"

Lol The professor looked at the flower then turned and saw that the student was holding her wand loosely. "Expelliarmus" the professor said. "Accio wand" the professor said making the wand which had fallen out of the students hand to fly into his. "The first of the spells is a defense spell handy in duelling. It is the disarming spell if performed propperly your opponent or enemies wand should fly out of the air. The other is the summoning charm also a handy one but you really need to concentrate on what you want to summon before you perform the spell. That is more advanced then what you will be learning in your first year" the professor explained. "Who's next?" The professor said smillingly

She clutched her sore sides and leaned back into her chair to watch Wendy perform her spell. "I've seen that spell somewhere before" she whispered to her friend with a wink. "It couldn't be that you and I only know one spell, could it?" She gave a mock gasp of horror at this idea. For the first time since school had begun, Natalie felt as though she would enjoy the whole learning part.

Colloportus and Aloha Mora. Also I know of the shield spell." John was thoroughly afraid now of being used as a guinea pig so he help his wand very tightly and was now starting to sweet a bit.

Very good" the professor said he was indeed very impressed. "Relax, I'm not going to hurt you or anything" the professor said to the student who was now clamming up. The student started to relax and the professor took his opportunity. "Petrificus Totalus" yelled the professor and the boys arms and legs slapped together in a full body bind. "Eneverate" the professor said after a short period of time not wanting to scare the boy. "See that didn't hurt now did it?" asked the professor nicely. "Well seeing as your classmates are slow to arrive I suppose we can share this amongst ourselves" the professor said taking out a large slab of Honeydukes chocolate and offering a chuck to each of the present students and a piece for himself. "Eat it's really tasty" the professor said nibling on his own piece.

Suddenly he remembered a spell he cased on the train, threltiblez, yea threltiblez might work, if he will let me cast it, he thought to himself as he took the piece of chocolate from the professor. "um professor i know of another charm that might be interesting".

If I were you, I'd keep my wand out-the man has no qualms about hexing students." Natalie grinned mischiviously at the feelings of doubt and fear she had planted in her friend. But she just couldn't resist scaring him a bit.

Just for future reference if I'm offline and we're changing rooms, whoever I'm with at the time just write that i'm with you. BIC: V enters the Charms Classroom "I'm going to be wrecked if we have to climb that many stairs everyd-" V was saying to James as she wlked into the Charms room. Upon seeing the teacher and her classmates already talking she stopped abruptly and said, "Oh, are we late?". Still looking at the professor so as to not seem impolite she walked to the desk behind Natalie and took a seat.
