Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control?

The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make?

Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? It's up to each individual to decide their fate, where will you decide to go?

Nat didn't have any problem shoving people aside to get to her destination. She might be small, but people never seemed to overlook her presence. She made sure they didn't.

They neared the professor who was leading the first years. He looked to be in his thirty's, was tall with longish hair and was extremely attractive. Nat had expected all her teachers to be ancient old hags- and she was VERY pleased.

"Wow" Nat whispered into Wendy's ear as they near Prof. McDonald, "he is gorgeous."

Now understanding what the conversation was, James started talking with Sam and Gary.
"In that case, I'm looking forward to defence against hte dark arts. It seems like it would be fun to learn these powerful spells and I heard a rumor about student duels, but I'm not sure it's true though." He was just happy to be off the train and things would be a bit more organized. An entire castle to walk around in after being cramped in the enclosed space for the many hours. He felt at home.

Wendy's dark eyes actually fell on the professor before the students. Natalie was right. He was attractive.

"Oh my gosh," Wendy gasped in a whisper to her. "I assumed we were gonna be surrounded by a bunch of horribly ugly ghosts for teachers!"

She remembered the only teacher her mother had talked about at Hogwarts. The ghost who taught History of Magic. She assumed all teachers would be like that, really.

"ghosts?" Nat giggled (Nat hardly ever giggled- it must've been her proximity to Prof. McDonald that was making her act like a love struck idiot).

Nat immediatly shook out her braid, afraid it made her look too young. She bit and moistened her lips to make them redder, and stuck out her very small chest.

"Do look alright?" she asked Wendy. "I want to make a good first impression"
With that she gave a cocky wink and turned her starry eyes back to the professor.

Wendy put her hands on her hips and looked at Natalie. "You look great," She told her, sarcastically adding, "If you're trying to look like a two-dollar hooker."

She rolled her eyes and laughed. "I'm only joking. You look fine. Stop fussing."

If we see a man glorifying his race, gender, or creed, we can understand there is nothing about himself that deserves glorification.

Hellius yawned as he was standing alone away from the rest of the group. As far as he could tell - the other boys were talking amongst themselves and the girls were giggling randomly.

Idiots.

Hellius looked around. The other, older students were running off to where ever the hell they were going. He put his hood over his head, shoved his hands into his robe pockets, and waited for whenever they were going to leave.

OOC: Well. I know that most of the others are off for the night, and I also know that Jordanna is NEVER online. We can basically leave her out of the picture. <_<

Nat pouted and lost her ridiculous stance.

"Is it too much to ask that I don't want to be stuck with first year boys? I mean, look at them."

Nat gazed despairingly at a blonde boy picking his nose, and a tall gawky one with his sweater on inside out.

"My only wish for this year is that I'm not in the same house as either of them!"

A mob of first years pushed Nat in the back and the entire crowd surged forward. Nat grabbed Wendy's wrist and pulled her forward against the tide. She then turned, gave a very mean look to the red-headed girl who had pushed her and promptly stamped on her toe.

Ooc: I gtg to bed, nite! Wendy- sry I always leave just when the conversation gets good! :P

OOC- Don't worry about it! I'm getting off anyway! Night to all.

Wendy laughed at Nat's remark and looked around at the boy's she could tell she was looking at.

This is sad.

As the crowd surged, Wendy held onto Nat's hand that had grabbed her wrist. It was weird that she felt comfortable enough already to let Natalie grab her hand like that. It was just that weird kinda friend connection they had, she guessed.

She cocked an eyebrow at the girl that Natalie had glared at and promptly glared at her two.

Jordanna stepped off the train and took her first step into Hogsmeade. Seeing as everyone had piled their trunks and cages up, Jordanna placed hers neatly on top of a couple of trunks that were already laid out. When she heard a man, who she guessed was one of the professors, calling for first years, she strode briskly over to the crowd that was now formulating.

Jordanna looked around, and saw Wendy, the girl who she had almost got into a fight with, until she got her face reddened, standing with a new girl. With an evil looking grin, Jordanna squeezed into the space in front of Wendy, then, acting as if she was turning around to go somewhere, walked straight into her.

"Oh, I'm so sor-," Jordanna paused. "Well well, look who it is! Get your face beat off anymore during the ride on the train?"

Jordanna smiled devilishly.

Ooc: looks like we aren't going to wait for all the others.

"Now, everyone I want you to get into groups of four and go by boats. I'll be in a boat with the people who cannot find partners. Don't worry I won't bite you" the professor said into the crowd of first years. As the professor looked into the crowd he noticed there was an odd assortment of kids here. One of the girls had taken to starring at the professor unbashfully the whole time he was speaking, she was grabbing the wrist of another girl whose face was seemingly going red. Meanwhile there was a girl infront of her who had her back to the professor and seemed to be the reason that the other girl was going red. There were also the pack of boys. As per usual the boys and girls seemed not interested in mingling with each other but knew that they would become friends when they matured.

occ: really sorry it's kinda late, stuff kept me busy (not to mention, you've started and practically finished the thread while I was asleep :P )

When Ashy got off the train, she was suprised by how many people were really there.

Seeing a few other, supposedly, first years deposite their luggage in a pile, she walked over and dropped her trunk and bag.
Wondering over to where a teacher was ordering everyone to get into groups of four, she struggled to hear him. When figuring out what he said, Ashy noticed that most of the others had already got into a group.

Damn my lateness she thought, frowning to herself.

Wendy had opened her mouth to say something nasty back to Jordanna but before she could the professor had spoke.

She just threw her a nasty gesture that no one else seemed to see. She exchanged looks of disgust with Natalie and then turned her full attention to the professor. After he had spoken she turned to Natalie.

"Let's promise to stick together?" She said.

John shuffled in between the group of first year students before he spotted Wendy and Nat who where clinging together. John made his way over to them and gathered up all his courage yet at the same time he couldn't ask them while looking at them so he just took to starring at his toes while he asked "can I go on the boat with you two?" to Wendy at Nat.

As V entered the station she quickly made her way over to the rest of the people she had met on the train who were all clustered around a teacher giving instructions.
"Well i don't mind who i'm with as long as it's one of you" she said indicating the group from her compartment.

OOC:Sorry if none of you guys are standing near one another i'm just hoping you are!

James walked with Sam and Gary to the boats which were lined up along the lake. He got in with them and sat there in the freezing cold and looked across the misting lake which the bright moon lit up. He paned his head upwards to see the majestic castle which was lit up as if there was a celebration.

"I hope it doesn't take long to get there, it's freezing..."

"Sure," he replied. "Personally I would rather have someone we know instead of a complete stranger who we didn't meet on the train. If they are annoying, it's either put up with them, or jump in the lake." He then laughed slightly.

V laughed slighty at James half attempt at a joke as she was climbing into the boat, it was just then when she realised she was the only girl in the boat. This was also the time she choose to notice that all the other girls were with girls and, likewise the boys were with boys.

Oh well, she thought as she spotted at least half a dozen people standing by themselves, at least I know someone.
