Read Today's Daily Prophet: Knights of Walpurgis attack Hogwarts; Belleford steps down as Hogwarts closes until further notice
Welcome to Hogwarts Interactive Role Play, one of the net's best in Harry Potter and Hogwarts role plays. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Here at Hogwarts our students are currently in their Seventh Year. Last year, the war against the Knights crescendoed into a direct attack against the school. Disappearances are still reported (or not) daily, and the Dark Lord and his Knights of Walpurgis have succeeded in spreading their message of "do as thou will" far and wide across the globe. Magical Law Enforcement, which is now the only authority in the wizarding world under Martial Law, has responded by tightening security, controlling the media, and strictly enforcing curfews and other laws. Their control is damaging to the people's freedom, and their hierarchy is a suspicious lot. It is clear that some members of the MLE like their new found power a bit too much, others see it necessary, but all are in serious danger of being consumed by it. But with the picture of just what Azariah Amaranth is after becoming ever clearer, and a third player in the form of a group called SAVIOR entering the scene, what will the MLE do next to ensure that they've got the situation under control?

The Elementium, the Higher Plane that had once been hidden just beyond the veil in the Department of Mysteries, and the Deathly Hallows. The pieces of the puzzle have been identified, but what picture do they make?

Today is Day 1 of Year Seven. Students have had time to recover from the Knight's attack, and are beginning to reluctantly return to the walls of Hogwarts. The safety of the school has been diminished, bringing up the question everyone must ask. Are you safe anywhere these days? It's up to each individual to decide their fate, where will you decide to go?

Platform 9 and 3/4

Jason Hudson
Seventh Year
[ * ]
Jason and his mom stepped out of the car once they arrived at King's Cross. Jason stared at the train station nervously.
"Where do we go now?" Jason asked his mother.
"We'll have to go through a wall between platforms 9 and 10. Here, follow me," Jason's mom answered, while carrying his luggages and stuff.
They walked up between platforms 9 and 10.
"Now, I want you to run through that wall with all of your stuff, okay sweetie?" she asked.
"Okay. But can you go first? I don't want to be all alone."
"Alright."
Jason's mom ran through the wall and disappeared. Jason grabbed his stuff, and was about to run through the wall when he saw a 13-year-olg muggle staring at him. He looked at the girl and quickly said "Hey look! Isn't that Brittney Spears and Paris Hilton?!," pointing in another direction. The girl turned around, distracted, while Jason laughed out loud and ran through the wall to the other side.
"See! You made it, sweetie!" his mom said. "Now board the train before it's too late."
Jason's mom kissed him on the forhead and said goodbye, as Jason boarded the train and also said goodbye.

Edit: Jason has boarded the train, and left the platform.

John sprinted onto the platform praying that he hadn't already missed the train. He quickly said goodbye to his mother and slid cooly through the barrier between platforms 9 and 10. He stepped into platform 9 and 3/4 and breathed a sigh of relief. As he saw the big scarlett Hogwarts Express still there in the station.

John has gotten onto the Hogwarts Express

Jordanna opened her eyes as she felt her feet hit the ground after the odd squeezing sensation halted after the apparation. She let go of her father's arm, and looked over as her mother appeared, carrying her bird cage and trunk, with the distinctive pop of an apparator.

"Now, dear. Make sure you tell that Sorting Hat that you're a pure blood, and that you hate muggles, and he'll have no other choice but to put you into Slytherin. Not that he wouldn't know to do so anyway, huh?" Jordanna's dad commented, as he knelt down to give his daughter a hug, and playfully nipped her nose with his fingers.

"If you have any trouble with anyone, even your teachers, don't think twice about sending us a letter, dear," Jordanna's mother began. "We'll have it sorted out immediately, I assure you."

Jordanna's dad disappeared for a second, then reappeared pushing a trolley in front of him.

"Thanks, daddy," Jordanna told him, as he brought the trolley over and loaded her things onto it. When he finished, she walked up and began pushing the trolley forward.

"We'll see you soon, dear," Jordanna's mother told her, as she and Jordanna's father waved goodbye. "And remember what we told you about the barrier!"

"I'll make sure to write, I promise!" Jordanna yelled back, and in the blink of an eye, her parents disappeared into thin air.

With an air of confidence and with her head held high, Jordanna strode through the station until she reached platforms 9 and 10. Not caring if anyone was looking, she walked straight through the barrier and immediately came out on the other side.

Jordanna walked straight towards the least crowded entrance to the train with her trolley. Without making eye contact with anyone else, she simply pulled her trunk and cage off of the trolley, leaving it there, pulled her things up the stairs, and into the train.

If we see a man glorifying his race, gender, or creed, we can understand there is nothing about himself that deserves glorification.

"Whatever, mom... I don't give a crap. Just... go back to Greenland. I don't need you," Hellius said coldly as he slowly pushed his cart of belongings towards the station.

"Okay, dear. Good luck," Joanna said as Hellius walked away.

Damn her.... Hellius thought.

Hellius entered the station and looked around. The area was bursting full of people and everyone was in a rush. Hellius, in the middle of this ruckus, wanted to go slowly, as always, but that wasn't going to happen since everyone and their grandma was pushing him to go in different directions. He just let everyone do the work for him. Instead of walking, he just took pushes until he eventually arrived at Platform 9.

Platform 9... where is Platform 9 3/4?

Hellius closed his eyes and folded his hands over his head. He often did this when he was thinking.

"Got it," Hellius mumbled to himself.

Slowly pushing his cart up to the wall that separated Platform 9 from the platform across from it, Hellius stopped his cart, walked around it, and extended his hand into the wall. He was astonished as his hand disappeared so he quickly removed his hand from the wall. Smirking, Hellius returned to his cart, and he then wheeled it through.

Hellius yawned again as he appeared through the wall.

Not very impressive...

Hellius, not liking to make any sort of contact with others, pushed his cart towards the entrance with the least amount of people. He pulled his belongings of his trolley, and Entered the train.

Damn it Venessa thought as she and her father hurried through Kings Cross station. I'm going to miss the train! I'm too late, I bet it's already left!
"Now don't you fret V" said her dad as if reading her mind, "The train won't have left yet".
Suddenly her dad stopped and proclaimed "We're here!".
Venessa looked up at a stone pillar between Platforms nine and ten. She wasn't worried about getting onto Platform 9 and 3/4, she had done it before when she had come to see her sister off once.
With one look at each other Venessa and her dad smiled and took a run at the pillar. When she emerged on the other side she turned and seen her father slowing down with her trolley.
"Well" she said " here goes".
"Don't worry, you're going to love Hogwarts! Now if you've forgot anything just send a note with Ruffles and we'll send it on to you. What, what's wrong?" Her father asked when a look of shock came over his daughter's face.
"Ruffles" she wailed, "I've forgotten him!"
Her father chuckled and assured her that Ruffles would be waiting at Hogwarts for her when she arrived.
"Okay, I'd better go, I think the train's about to leave"
After hugging her father and promising that she'd write at least once a week, she turned and headed into the nearest door of the Hogwarts Express.
This is finally it! she thought as she entered the scarlett steam engine.

Ashleigh Beckston
First year

Ashleigh entered the train station and suddenly began to feel queazy with excitement.
"Come along, Ashleigh, we'll get you a trolley," her step-mother commanded, steering her towards a discarded crowd of trolleys.
"What for? I can carry it myself!" Ashleigh frowned, tossing her heavy bag over her shoulder and gripped her school trunk, determinded not to let her step-mother have her way. She was still dissapointed that her father couldn't make it as he was 'busy'.
As Ashleigh charged through the crowds she constantly heard an aggitated sigh following her. Deciding to stop, she released her grip on the large trunk and pulled the ticket out of her pocket.

Platform...9 3/4?! Where am I supposed to find THAT?! she looked up and read the number 8. She leaned outwards to see the numbers 9 and 10. Of course...

"Ashleigh, please, you're going to be late for your train" her step-mother commented, trying not to upset Ashleigh again. Unfortunately for her, it was too late.

"I know, I know!" her trunk suffered a battering as Ashleigh roughly dragged it even further towards platform nine. "But if you don't stop going on, I'll miss it all toge-"

Suddenly, Ashleigh could no longer see the crowds and luggage being steered in all directions.
"-ther!"
Looking around, she spotted a bright red train and a small sign reading 'Platform 9 3/4".
Facing forward again, she dropped her bag and trunk, ran back through the wall and right into her step-mother. Quickly embracing her, Ashleigh said "I'll see you...when I see you!" before turning back to retrieve her luggage.

Ashleigh took a deep breath and walked onto the platform, passing various other students and supposed parents.
She stepped onto the train and pulled her trunk after her and out of sight.
