Converted to a luxury hotel by César Ritz, The Ritz in Paris embodies the term ritzy, in a legendary area surrounded by fashion boutiques, the best dining in Paris, and history at its best. The Hôtel Ritz consists of the Vendôme and the Cambon buildings with rooms facing Place Vendôme and on the opposite side, rooms overlooking its famous garden. The hotel became a favorite of many of the world's wealthiest people, including the Gray family, which has rented its own suite--Coco Chanel style.

Located about two hours outside of London, tucked away in the rolling English countryside, the Abott Manor positively screams wealth and elegance. To the Muggle passerby, the entire facade of the manor appears to be just another patch of land. However, the passing witch or wizard gets a quite different view. Intricate and magically reinforced wrought iron gates surround the sprawling, lush lawn (complete with a polished marble fountain and a pear tree-lined drive. The just-visible three story exterior of the house is made of grey stone, the wide oak doors and marble columned porch flanked by twin marble staircases. Though the Abott Manor is a tempting vision, beware of what may happen should you choose to attempt to gain access to those pristine grounds.

The house has been in the family for generations, though after Kiran's father was disinherited, the ownership was passed down to her grandparents on her mother's side. Kiran's mother has been staying here since she lost her job in London and was no longer able to pay for the house there.
