Hi there, guys. I know it's been forever. It's probably been about 4 months since I've been around, and I was so pleasantly surprised to see chat box activity when I came here on a whim today. School's been rough. I've been staying up till about 2 every night doing homework, and I just don't have the time for huge commitments. However, I'm also encouraged by the presence of old friends on here still. I don't want to just give up, not if Haysu still has support. I just know that I can't do it all on my own. Maybe over the summer, but this will be a rough semester for me. No doubt about that. Opinions? I have missed the Haysu community a lot. I was scared of the workload it represented though. |

Haysu has always been a casual RP site LC, it was never meant to represent an overwhelming amount of work... As the person who essentially handed it over to you and bailed I'm really sorry that you ever felt that way  I wouldn't really feel comfortable taking on a full co-admin role here having already left one. I have time now, but once I move on to a new job I might not be able to give you the time that you'd need from me. That said, if nobody else is keen on helping you out right now I can help you out on a strictly temporary basis, at least until Haysu is back on it's feet, and then we can sort out somebody a bit more permanent. For now I can at least help you with some general clean up and updates

I think help in modding is where my needs would most lie. The other adminny-type stuff is never too time-consuming, so I think that that arrangement would work out just fine. I appreciate the support. ^^ Although perhaps neither of us can offer as frequent of updates as we have in the past, we can at least do an amount that keeps the site going. That suits me just fine then, all you have to do is make sure I've got the appropriate powers to help you out First things first, I'm going through to get rid of old adventures and profiles. I'm deleting anything that hasn't been touched since 2009 and early 2010, anything from the middle of 2010 and onwards will be safely relocated to the inactive adventures thread in our archives. EDIT: Whoops, almost declared one of your adventures inactive! That would have been a bit embarrassing

Thanks a ton 3kul. But at least you almost declared one of mine inactive, and not deleted it. That would have been quite tragic. Anything you need me to do? I know normally this should go the other way around but I figured because you were initiating doing things, I'd ask. |

I guess updates are the next thing on the list. I've cleared up all that needs to be cleared in terms of getting rid of/archiving old adventures, but I'm not very familiar with most of the adventures here anymore so you'll probably be able to do a better job of updating than me (I note that Luigi has specifically requested that you be the one to update him, so I'll leave that for you). Of course, odds are that once we've cleared the URT of old requests we might just be updating each other's adventures if nobody else is posting You could send out another global e-mail if you like to let people know that we're still alive, although I'd say that Scribbyz has achieved that already with his own e-mail. You could also go through the announcements page as well as whatever makes that 'Recent News' stuff at the top and archive or delete all of the older entries. For now I'd axe any major events and probably the quarterly awards - since there's currently barely any staff we should cut back and focus on the basics. We can bring back the more complicated stuff after we get more staff on board. |

I just spread the word to Ozers. I don't have free time at the moment (I HAVE TO EDIT THROUGH 80 PAGES OF A NOVEL. EIGHTY PAGES. The worst part is it's in Filipino, my own language which doesn't have a grammar/spelling checker in Microsoft word) so I won't be able to help advertising anywhere else. I love revivals!

*pokes head in the door* I got the email, and as one of those random users if the site back in it's glory days, I fully support this resurrection! I can't really say I ever did much... But I really loved the concept and seeing what the judges threw at me, so I hope on sticking around I do think I may start a new journey... Years do tend to scramble with one's track of an RP, although I remember some really great times. Anyway, long live Haysu! :D Edited by Coolpikaaa, Feb 21 2011, 11:28 PM.

Don't worry. The Black and White release coincides with my spring break, so once I get it and am busy obsessing over it, I'll phase in the new Pokeys. Just have to figure out how to do it convincingly. :P |

Hi, you guys might not remeber me, but I was a member way back in '08. If you guys need any help with modding I can lift a heavy load of the work. I can be on literally all day because I'm out of school and unemployed at the moment(sad day ). Plus I have a crap load of experince. I've modded around what must be like a dozen sites, and I even have experince running my own site. So like I said if you guys need help, let me know.
