Alright another update. Well I am going to try and give you guys weekly updates for awhile. But after I run out of things to update, it will probably go to a monthly update. But lets get to it.

Well the Halloween Event is up. There is no submissions yet, still waiting. I know it takes time to write a good story. The prizes have changed as well. So if you haven't been to the thread for awhile, then you might want to check up on that. The link to the thread is under the Recent News at the top. As well as here, Halloween Event.

The award system is up and running, I believe Cass has the most so far. We also need some idea's for some new awards to give out. Right now we have the following:

Pokemon Seen - How many Pokemon you have seen total.
Pokemon Captured - How many Pokemon you have captured total.
Staff Medals - If you have been staff or are staff.

Not a lot, I know. But as events start taking place and get completed, then well have a lot of medals for members and other things as Haysu progresses. The link to that is here, Medal and Award System.

We now have three maps in Haysu's Map thread. For each forum, Civilizations, Landscapes, and Routes. These maps will help you visualize Haysu better and possibly help you with your writing and descriptions of your where-bouts. A link to the maps is the last link under the Helpful Links at the top. Or here, Haysu Maps.

I am going to be working on the Pokemon Image uploads this week. I'm gonna try and get the 300+ I have left over uploaded so it will be easier to use. If you have any suggestions, just let me know. I am thinking about holding a tournament in November. If your interested, or have a thought on this just let me know.

Might I suggest that Gym badges become medals as well?

It would be a great way to keep track and show them off to other users ;).

Oh, and perhaps some "Suggestion" badges? If you come up with a great idea for Haysu, you might as well brag about it right?

The badges idea doesn't sound bad. I would have to organize that area in the mini-profile. The suggestions badges, that could be possible but we'd have to work on how that'd work before it was actually implemented. But good ideas, CP; they'll be considered.

Hm, award suggestions... a "Member of the Month" or "Character of the Month"-type award, perhaps? A lot of RPGs have those and they seem to do quite well; it'd add a few medal/award options, and it could be made into a member voting thing to help keep participation and activity up.

We did have monthly(-ish) member awards for a little while, but we were simply too... inactive/lacking in members to really pull it off.

Though~ we do seem to have picked up quite a bit of speed lately. :D
But maybe monthly is too often too. Maybe like... every three months or so?

I do really miss the monthly awards. Although monthly was too frequently, I agree. Even every two months might be effective.
