religion on paper or in mind? on paper, according to the law, i would guess, i am a protestant, but in mind, i really don't know. i'm not baptised, which is something i'm glad for, since it has given me the oppertunity to say no to the belief of christianity or to say yes (i can always baptise as an adult, but not un-do a baptism, as far as i know)

me i am a Zoroastrian(parsee) from (mumbai)india
Quote:

The Zoroastrian religion is based on the three fundamental tennets of HUMATA (good thoughts), HUKTA (good words) and HUVARASHTA (good deeds). It can't get any simpler than that. From distant Greece in the west to Hindustan (India) in the east, people from all walks of life thronged to hear the Holy Zarathushtra speak of his great new religion. His was the religion of ASHOI (righteousness):

A Zoroastrian's duty was to strive against evil. He may succeed or he may fail. But he must go on trying.
Telling the truth and foreswearing the lie is an essential element of our religion. From which follows that one's word is sacred and not to be broken, however difficult the circumstances.
Wearing of the SUDREH and KUSTI, was the symbol of a Zoroastrian./li>
Zoroastrianism is a small religion with about 140,000 members. Yet its importance to humanity is much greater than its current numbers might suggest, because:

Their theology has had a great impact on Judaism, Christianity and other later religions, in the beliefs surrounding God and Satan, the soul, heaven and hell, savior, resurrection, final judgment, etc.
It is one of the oldest religions still in existence,
It may have been the first monotheistic religion.
