Hi
I bought a 1978 FS1M the other day on a spur of the moment thing. I couldnt wait to ditch my FS1E in 1977 for a 250, and here I am with getting excited about a rusty ped!
The bike is a very early registered 1978. 05-01. It has matching numbers. No pedals, blue in colour. Drum brake, autolube.
It has the small square Stanley rear light that I believe to be correct, the bracket is also correct, but i am not sure what mudguard it should have? the one on it is in really bad shape. It has the wire feed welded to the top. Seeing that original ones are scarce, I will have a go at restoring it, as long as its the correct one!
The swinging arm has the pedal boss welded to it. Would this be the correct item. If not, any ideas where I might get one?
The engine/brakedrums/lower fork legs are silver, has anyon the RAL paint code?
Thank you in anticipation!
