Hi,
I'm new to this forum, but was told (about 12 months ago) that there were a few members on here who are knowlegable about the Honda SS50.
I have a '76 5 speed disk brake model and, in common with a lot of others, have had problems losing teeth off the first gear cog - the one that the kick start uses. I have had made a new cog, but then noticed that the kickstart pinion only meshes about 3mm with the first gear cog. I'm thinking of modifying the kick start shaft so that it will mesh about 6mm, but really need a bit of advice.
Is there anyone out there who knows about these things? I would be very grateful for any help/advice.
Thanks in anticipation,
Ivan
