I have a 1975 yamaha suprsport /fs1e and a 1971 yamaha G5 cafe racer.

I need a few odds and ends and first off I need a wiring harness, air filter, air filter canister, foot peg rubbers, brake and clutch cables, brake shoes, and left side engine casing for the G5.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Beau,
I cannot comment without being perceived as biased if I do not include all but, there are a number of members that do good deals. No doubt, they will contact you direct or, you will be pointed in their direction.

As for your bikes, those I can comment on..........you lucky, lucky person. Have/will you be posting images of them?
Cheers,

nige

Hi Guys thanks for your speedy respone i havent quite fiugred out how to post pics but I certainly will once i figure out how to postp pics. I dont get on here often. I went to the local shop and Yes I agree I can stil get some aprts from yamaha but not everything.

First up I am doing a registry search for the G5. Then Ill look for a wiring harness. and do a frame off restore.

Acording to the local shop they had a list of all serial numbers for yamaha bikes made in north america as far back as 68. neither of my bikes was in their list. Because I live near a major centre for ships it is possible that the bikes came from across the waters. I do know the coast guard used my FS1E for 25 yrs in one of their compounds.

ANyway Ill keep in touch and thank you for your assistance.

Beau

Tiz easy 2 post images if you use 'photobucket'.
Once you've got your phots uploaded to the site, hover your mouse over the image; a box with around 4 x options should appear beneath.
Click on and copy the code of the bottom one - called 'IMG' (I think) and paste it into' the 'reply' box you're using for your message on here.
Simples.....unless I've missed something.

As Cobrafighter says, never forget to ask the manufacturer. I know im often surprised by how many parts Suzuki still list for their 1970 GT range and at prices that beat ebay sellers - and you can virtually guarantee it will be official gear not some pattern part.

Here is another pic but this is of my yamaha G5 which is supposed to be a cafe racer. I dont see that but I'll find out more once I get my package of info from the national motor museum and for those who dont know you would be surprised what amount of information they have on vehicles. In fact I got more from them on my antique cars and trucks than i did from the manufacturers.
