I know the junction you speak of very well. The large building on the crossroads used to be a pub many years ago which a few of us bikers used at times. Glad you had a worthwhile trip to this neck of the woods. I don't know the person you are talking of but i wouldn't mind a look at his Fiz. Ride safe. |

Why not mate? Trouble is with my restricted model pulling 15 and a half stone it takes me an age to get anywhere in Suffolk, and i live there! LOL. Joking apart i am slowly working on derestricting it. I've upped the gearing and a mate has a Micron exhaust buried deep in his garage he's going to let me have. I may soon be pulling that magical 40mph!!!!! |

Hi there everyone! I'm the man in Stonham Suffolk who sold Simmy the YB100 engine. Glad to hear it's going O.K. i'd like to see some pic's. My yellow 76 DX is in bits at the moment, hope to get it together again this winter. |

Hi Austin. Nice to see a few local Fizzy owners coming out of the woodwork. I'm still keeping my eyes and ears open trying to pick up an early model. I did put an offer in for one recently but was knocked back. I'm using my 91 model more than the Harley at the moment! By the way i live by the I.C.I. roundabout in Stow if you know it? Excuse my ignorance but does the YB100 engine bolt straight into a Fizzy? |

I go past the ICI paint works every day so i know where your at. YB100 engine is not hard to fit, i think i filed a bit off one of the engine mounts, and the standard fizzy exhaust front pipe is to short to reach the cyinder. The YB'S engine is a bit wider up front too, so you may have to adjust your foot rests. I got sick of crap Taiwan 60cc big bores kits when i was 16, don't know what they made their pistons from, think i got thru one a week!!!!! so i stuck the YB engine in, a bit naughty but the law never twiged. Obviously i'm alot, lot older now and wouldn't dream of braking the law. |

I'm not seriouly thinking of fitting YB 100 engine. Just curious really cos the engines seem to get mentioned so regularly on this site. By the way I.C.I Paints is where i work! Still looking for that elusive early Fizzy lurking amongst junk in somebodys shed. |
