Well,
Tony the painter has just finished my frame and swinging arm. He's got all my silver parts as well which will hopefully be done soon. So, i thought I'd make a start on the engine. I'll post a few pics for you all.

Here's the frame.

when your in your album, if you right click on the img code under the picture you will be able to post them straight up ;)

It looked pretty grim. Had been sat in previous owners garden with barrel and head off so crank was seized.

A quick degrease and then off to the ultra sonic bath for two hours, gas mark 7.

Everything cam up pretty good after a soak in the bath. The crank cases are currently being vapour blasted. Bearings and seals arriving from yamaha on friday. Just need to have the crank overhauled.

she's a 75, pop purple. As soon as i get the up to pick the parts up from Tony, I'll wait until he's doing a batch of pop purple and then have him do the my tins as well.

All looking very tidy, the engine was in a bit of a state wasnt it :D

Decided not to have the frame and swingarm powdercoated?
