 Just picked my chrome up this morning, a really tidy job, just got to paint inside of Guards and fit. The rear is surplus but I'm sure it'll find a home, Genny Yam holes filled silver soldered etc and new chrome. Anyway I can recommend http://www.aloh.co.uk , Steve 100% brill the tower rack is almost too good!!! anyway a couple of pic's off the phone (my camera's bust!) http://i230.photobucket.com/albums/ee113/1...1E/DSC00183.jpg http://i230.photobucket.com/albums/ee113/1...1E/DSC00184.jpg http://i230.photobucket.com/albums/ee113/1...1E/DSC00185.jpg |

I tried to get the photo's off my camera earlier but it won't work! the Guards are both NOS gennie Yamaha one's the front one had the rubber strip holes on wrong side and the rear one had the rear light bracket in wrong place. So I had them silver soldered and re-chromed. The Rear Rack I swapped some SS50 parts for it had no chrome was just silver paint and surface rust! It was solid but basic, It looks a million dollars now really will set the ped off. I will try and get camera working! I've got some good photo's on the camera including a V Rod I met the other weekend on the Fizzie, I thought that would make a nice pic on the forum. Lionel |

Hi Guys, can anyone let me know if these are worth rechroming. The rear has a hole or two. Thanks in advance.

He didn't give me a breakdown but they cost over £300 for prep and chrome for the three items to be done, so it must be £100+ each + the purchase price on top! big money! but quality is good and it stops me drinking for a while (and eating lol)! Back guard alone stands me over £200+ all in! (Thats my dilemma!) Got told the rear guard should pull about £250 on Flea bay if I ever decide what to do with it unsure at moment! but would be better on an FS1-E where it belongs! it's looking good on bedroom window ledge at present! will probably sell though as the one on the peds really good so would be a shame to just leave it! but it's like money in the bank it shouldn't loose value! |

Hi, chrome fitted, just back from ride. Does look better with the Yamaha Guard on! Got all the jobs done now pedal guard, inasen lenses etc, it's just a case polishing ready for Thundersprint, in between riding it of course! Roll on Summer hope it's another 1976!! Still got the back guard looks nice on the bedroom window ledge! (different anway!) might be the start of a new fashion! http://i230.photobucket.com/albums/ee113/1...1E/DSC00200.jpg |

 The rack fit's on the shock mounts there are holes that line up with the mudguard mounts and the rear brackets fit to the rear light, it's mainly to carry a ruck sack no real weight but it looks great with the re-chrome set's the bike off! and it saves the seat wear and tear as no need to handle it any more! |
