will do.
I paid 16 for it + postage. I have not seen any others bar the chrome ones on since R/H that is.

I am impatient, I have to have every thing I need for the job now, not wait 6 months for a part, I cannot do that. This is why I have spent a lot of cash, my fault. I can now sent all the tin to Sleazy for painting on Monday, so for the sake of a couple of pints, I get my painting done :D

thats the trouble with accountants get every thing, spent nowt for it  and dont pay until the court order arrives :D :D

i'm a watchin ya

Actually im the same and now have boxed up the painting for for sleazy also.

I hope to send it off in the next week or so.

My frame is with him, engine with Mark, wheels with Nik, Chome in Holland, anything that can be painted or zinc'd has been sent away for blasting and painting oh and forks at a local engineering firm.

Other than a picture of the wreck I brought and the box for sleazy nothing is at my home right now!

Cheers
is yours a 74 popy purple, mine is. I suspect our tinware will be painted at the same time as sleazy said a 2 week turn around which fits in great with all the rest of the works going on. my tinware (tank) is good enough to go back on, but when I seen the base of the head lamp colour, unfaded it was totally diffrent and looked fab, so hence getting it all painted. + I was missing the R/H panel that had to be painted now got.

I mailed almare (the duchies) this am and got more bits added to the order, luckly they had not posted it yet, so I have saved a bunch on postage albeit I spent another xx quid <_<

the motor has gone for a complete re-build using all NOS yamaha bits bought from yamaha.

Im going for powder coating on the frame as such a nice finish I think.
wheels are done, all new NOS rims and spokes, brakes, tyres from yam bits 12 quid ea great. a local wheel builder did the lot and fitted the rubber for 30 quid, not worth messing with. mind you I spent 2 days polishing the hubs though.

what the hell it will be a 4K bike at the end of it and one of the best around, being all new NOS
I may look for another to do, so I can put all the bling on and fanny with it

sounds like you got a fair old hord of kit, how the hell do you find stuff like that!!

I will post a pic of my 1/10th scale Ducati 999R bike that has a 3.5cc engine, auto clutch, disk brakes back and front and does around 45 mph standard and sits in the palm of your hand

laters buddy

I got the tyres from yam bits off flea bay. front was a ribbed and the back ? they are advertised on there now. 12 quid each. I also got a few other bits off him tubes etc. he did the postage for the lot at 7.50. when the box came it actually cost him 11 quid to send it! it arrived the next day, great service. the rims and spokes are from Yamaha. 35 quid for the rims and I think 9 quid for the spokes.

the tinware has been sent today, I dropped off the frame and all the silver work at the powder coaters also today (145 for the lot) from www.aerocoat.net

they also do spray chroming, looked prety good too.

the Ducati is made by thunder tiger, retails for around 299
goes like s**t off a shovel. revs like crazy,if you hit a stone right it pops a wheelie. I have tumbled it a few times though arse over tit. you need a decent empty car park, no good in the front st. they also do an electric one. would be better for the front st, but no noise. I have a rider doll that goes on it, but he falls off a lot. I was thinking of getting a proper tank n seat unit made out of ali and use it as the actual tank, at the mo the tank is pressure fed from underneath.
I have fitted (as you do) a number of up grades to the bike, but rarely use it.
they have world champ races with this thing, I seen them last yr or the yr before cannot remember at snetterton race track Norfolk and had to have one. they were reaching speeds of 70+ on the flat. great stuff toys I love em. :P
