Just bought a rear mudguard from Team Almere.Wot a heap of xxxx.Crap chrome, cheap looking & the tunnel looks like Stevy Wonder fitted it.It`s about half an inch off centre.Just goes to show, you get what you pay for.Definately getting returned.

They are not expensive though are they? Cheap and cheerful would be how I describe them. A couple of years ago you couldn't get anything with a tunnel on. |

Yeah, lets be right, given the choice of being able to get parts for the bike [even if a little wonky] versus having to have everything original/NOS/mint restored, I would rather be able to get the bits easily, because I am more interested in having the bike correct [if not showroom] and enjoying riding the thing. |

OK So Dave was talking about a gen Dutch fender then. I see now. suppose you just get some chrome bolts to fill the holes. If I drilled new ones the light would sure as hell be wonky   never been able to drill a hole in the right place yet!! you should see my shelfing work. It starts out as straight but when put together it is wonky why does that happen   |

I've just had a Gennie rear guard re-chromed, just needs the bracket holes marking, masking and drilling, check my link Chrome. It is up for sale thought I would give forum (my preferred place to sell) a chance, I can take more pictures if anyone is interested! |
