very nice per, is it for keeps?

This one is for keeps I am pleased to say :)

It is quite a rare model fizzy for starters and I originally bought it 99% complete from a bloke called Alan in Blackpool last April and he had owned it from new since he was sixteen :o B)

Not too many one owner fizzys about these days

Mostly original restored parts on it apart from a NOS complete front end fork set and brake pipe, new seat, NOS mudguards (including an extremely rare front early "D" mudguard).

I am hoping to bring it to a few shows this summer B)

I think he may have scuffed it :(  :( , so I may need another one doing if he can't sort it?

You could treat yourself to a £1.34 genuine gasket whilst its off
Per what was you thinking using that crap gasket and why havent you filled the holes and redrilled the rear muddy??????????

Thanks for your positive comments Tony<_<

The gasket will be changed in due course and the mudguard may also be sorted at some point. I did not want to spend 2.5 years getting this back bike on the road and contrary to popular belief I do not have a bottomless pit of dough to draw upon :( .

I am not out to win any prizes for my restorations, just happy another one's back on the road to be enjoyed really :)

Wow that's a bright shiny brakehose is that a new one and where can i get a simular one cause i have a fully restored DX but with an old rusty brakehose, in fact i need two cause my not yet finished '76 Kenny robberts needs also a new brakehose.
We have emailed about a seat a few weeks ago now i see that the seat fits perfect did you modified the seat or brackets to fit it this way?

The brake hose is a NOS one which set me back well over £100 :( .

They come up on ebay from time to time but are getting more and more rare.

The seat is a genuine YAMAHA seat which fits without modification although on this model it should really have the thin chrome strip. I sell them for £180.00 if you want one?

I have 3 seats, 1 with a wide chrome strip but that leaves a gap of an inch, a sportsbuddy immitation and the latest a original '76 seat wich i 'am restoring right now so it's ok for now.

This is how i bought it
