Just a few pics of my step-son doing his first engine rebuild on his 75 pop purple. With just a small amount of help he stripped and rebuilt it in a day. Couldn`t finish it off as a new gearchange shaft and kickstart shaft were required. As soon as I get them he`ll be putting it all back together, in the frame and starting it up. Start em young I say :) :) :)

Good stuff eightcans, far better to do a re-build
at his age, even if he cocks it right up than sitting
on a Playstation rotting his brain, wish him all the
best with it!!

Cheers :) He`s happiest when working in his shed and thankfully zero interest in Playstations. His latest project is to convert his pushbike to electric power using a washing machine motor. In the past he mounted a small petrol engine on it with the intention of adding a propeller :o I`m sure with enough time and tools he could do it. Recently his mum found him in the shed experimenting with petrol and sparklers  , we just let him get on with it !! Proper shed stuff :D :D

At least you know the lad has decent brain in his head
and uses it. Cracking stuff with the washing machine
motor too. Get him to finish it, never know, could end
up on Top Gear!!
Needs an hair cut mind!!!LOL

Needs a hair band or something. Get it caught in that there pillar drill and he'll know all about it!

But 10/10 for getting down and dirty with machinery. Too many manicured IT specialists for my liking
