It would seem we all have to run these fooking Petrol filters these days,i know they are probably essntial these days but i still hate em.
Its good to see a Dx,of late everybodys bike being completed has either been a special or a stripe...well done ;)

Thanks all, I used to ride it in all weathers back in 79 when I had no choice! but now I take the van!!

Aint that the worst fuel filter ever? :o Its one I stuck on in a hurry before the Mot so thay could run the motor to check lights ect...it wont be stopping on for long. :D

i extended my fuel line so that i can hide my filter behind the side panel ted but dont think you can do it with the older side panels ;)

I could possibly hide mine behind the air filter,but that would involve buying more of that mega expensive nos petrol ine form Per :lol:

Why the need for petrol filters these days - have I missed something? :unsure:

Mine passed the MOT last week with no filter - are they necessary now?

No its rusty/shitty tank syndrome, the most commom cause of i restored peds breakdowns i reckon.

I do cheap imitation pipe as well you know for the less bothered :lol: :lol: ;)
