Well its getting towards that winter time building of my 2nd fizzy.
I started collecting bits and bobs about 3 years ago when a guy came up to me at a bike show where I had my Popsicle fizz on the RD stand.
He asked whos it was then informed me he had a few bits in a tea chest that came on the back of a farm trailer he had bought some years earlier.
anyway I travelled 80 miles or so to look at the expected pile of shirt.
I was pleasantly suprised by what I saw. The tax disc indicated it came off the road in the first year of its life and the speedo showed less than 5K miles to confirm this.

Pedal crank ,headlight, crash bars showed signs of a heavey spill and this is probably why the bike was stripped.

I would say this was about 55% complete.
Items immediately noticable as missing were
frame
wheels
wiring loom
ignition coil
rectifier

I have sinced sourced a frame from Nat
many other bits such as a nos ignition switch from Dave
I have spent around £140 on Nos bits and probably about £400 in total so far.
The aim is a tidy usable Fizz my wife can use but not to spend over £600.
I need a front wheel hub and a right hand pedal crank, head bearing set and I am ready to start!
I will keep you posted on this thread so try and keep it clear and clean!
Cheers
Dom

Well I hav been in the shed and made some room at last!
Have made some decisions as cost would spiral if i dont draw a line somewhere.

Going to put original mudguards on. rechrome for this ,the front and the pipe £230 is not an option.I had hoped a mate was going to thailand and could get them done less than a quarter of this price.
