Following the acquisition of yet another pile of crap, im having to have a shed clear out. This includes selling my much loved 1962 James captain 200. I bought a while back with high hopes of restoring it to trials spec. But all i ever got round to doin was taking it to bits. The engine runs perfectly and has a brand new amal 676 concentric carb on. The frame is solid, unfortunately the previous owner was a farmer so the electrics are a bit bodged. A new rear brake plate and possibly hub will be needed. The bike has no lights on it as it is the trials model. Its in a rough state but it works and rides fine, its also rather rapid! It comes with lots of villiers and BSA bits. Would make a great field bike, or a pre-65 trials machine. £250, please PM me if your interested. |
