OK folks,

Please can you all go and have a look in your sheds for any spare tinware that may be lying about gathering dust and is surplus to requirements.

I'm after some side cans, shocks, light bowl & brackets for my next project, a SS50  , so I need the side ignition type for the LH one (see pic below). They need to be in good condition and little to no rust as the last lot I sent for painting just disintegrated when being blasted :(

Replies on a PM or email me at info@fizzyparts.co.uk

Cash or parts for swaps waiting!

Cheers

Thanks Mike. It does look good on the bike. I was quite pleased with it, considering they were done with spray cans!

Halfrauds mixed it, to a recipie I think Hazel gave me. They put it in spray cans, but their spray cans have superior nozzles on.

The reason i ask is it actaully looks the right sort of colour,Halfords eh,what did hazel give you the name of a colour or a mix formulation?Ive seen a lot of lovely bikes of late that are completely the wrong colour, which is shame after all the money spent restoring.

It was metallic paint over yellow primer! I think Drumbrake put his metallic over silver base coat, for a deeper metallic finish.
It is very good paint though!

I dont think DB did do his over a silver base coat in the end. but it was me who told him it might be a good idea.

and those spray cans from halfrauds, good or what??? really lays the paint on thick and even. fabulous.
