Just found this while searching for bits.
I can't understand a word of German but i believe its a reedvalve engine and for about a fiver starting price its got to be a bargain.

It's a reed valve motor.

If you expand the image and look where the carb ought to be you can see a funny shaped peice of metal - thats the inlet manifold on the carb side but it doubles as the reed valve cage carrier on the other side (behind the engine case).

Yes - Premix version - note the blind web holes that would take the cable outer strain releif for the oil pump and there is no worm drive gear protruding out of the end of the crank case just under wher the carb ought to be.
