DB a cg125 is anything but gutless, theyre just a bit slow, and anyway an XL is no quicker. but perfectly adaquate.

Yeh all well and good but my mates mum has one so its about as cool as my mums favourite teddy bear.

if its for my 33bhp test i'd spend about £1k... for a 125, theres VERY little point me spending £500 seeing as i plan on doing my 33bhp test sometime soon.. so i might aswell save my cash and book my tests. i dunno what ill get

i may even get the vfr ive been looking into for some time now.... the stupid thing about most 125's ive looked @ is that the insurance for me is roughly the save as a bigger bike... so i dont/cant justify spending 2x to get the same thing....

was looking into tzr250's and stuff until i realised they kick out os much power!

Basically every bike you buy your gonna have to restrict it or at least get a certificate to say its 33hp. Personally from what ive seen though sports 400's cost a load more to insure than any 125 does. But on the other hand a naked 400 is about the same as a 125 to insure.

aye

its just... i got to think of my cash situ REAL bad right now, i could buy a nice 125.. spend some cash on it (insurance and the bike = roughly £1000-1500) therefore i might aswell save that potential cash and put it towards a bigger bike... about the restricting thing... i dont mind, i know someone who can give me the certificate :P
